Just to confirm why he's miles ahead of son & Chadli for the third player behind Kane
"What’s more, at just 24-years old, he only stands to get better"
This is what I'm hoping

Stats eh? Analog's article on the 12th April proved statistically Chadli was a better option to play in the Prem, yet i'm assuming this articleis trying to prove something else even though the article openly admits:
"Christian Eriksen naturally comes out higher up the list".
The article also mentions how many tackles he makes, yet fails to mention he has made the most fouls out of every single player in the Premiership. That actually makes him the worse tackler in the league.
The report couldn't be more contradicting if it tried.
Lamela is by far our weakest link (in the Prem).

Lamela still has a long way to go to justify the massive price tag and 2 cr@p seasons. But he's benefitting from contributing to a team brimming with confidence, winning games & having total understanding of what Poch demands. For all the Tackles & Pressing (good & bad) he's by far the weakest of our attacking 3. With that said he's improving and will continue to get better, but comparing him to others is kinda stupid

how can anyone be so stubborn?!

I'm just glad he's not total liability anymore
Best player in the league.

Same old Chronic, always looking to ruin articles in favour of a slanging match...
he's had a fab season....but klets be honest....he's performing in line with what we thought we'd bought.
bigging up his tackle stats...!?
he actually can't tackle and how he hasn't seen red is nearly as big a miracle as lesta winning the league.......
he's NOT performing in line....
We aren't as good when he's not in the side.
That's the only stat you really need, just thought it was interesting that's all

Exactly. Stating the number of tackles he makes as a positive is a bit pointless when the result of the tackles is a foul to the opposition.
Clearly i'm not his biggest fan but this reminds me of the stat i read the other day, which is that 15% of accidents are caused by drink drivers, which means there is a hell of a lot of sober drinkers causing all the accidents.
It's a bit unfair to say all his tackles are fouls
Part of Pochs tactic is to endeavour to win the ball high up the pitch, fouls are inevitable although yes of course he could concede fewer. As a team we concede a lot I think third most in the league. It's a tactic
Imagine what will happen we Poch relieves him of all defensive duties...
Would have thought Henderson would be up there when it comes to all rounder types
A lot of of Lamela's fouls are deliberate infringements, to hold up play and allow the team to re-group. Nothing wrong with that.
