Wengerr has already said summer transfer activity will be limited so I highly doubt we see more then 2 players come in and it is unlikely to be top players
Giroud. And then Giroud. And after that, Giroud.
Giroud, Ramsey, Flamini, Arteta, Walcott and Ox if we get a good offer.
All representative of Wenger's blind faith in average players.
Walcott
Rosicky
Flamini
Maybe Ox.
There’s a case for a host of players to be sold, however other than a select handful would not be too disappointed to see anyone go.
This season for the majority of our players, has been a vast disappointment.
Walcott included. Seeing him jump over the ball yesterday, rather than making any attempt to win it, and potentially score the match winning goal) demonstrates (for me anyway) his lack of commitment.

Giroud
So fans would sell Walcott eve though Wenger won't buy a replacement?
Flamini, Arteta, Rosicky, Debuchy - we could get rid of all of these and it wouldn't weaken us at all. No point selling anymore players as we won't get the required replacements. If we were competent in the transfer market I'd get rid of Walcott, maybe even Giroud as well, plus loan out Ox.
5th season in a row with Giroud first choice striker

Straight swap for Griezmann
How ever will we replace Walcott's 9 goals
it would be rare for a top 4 (or 5!) team to have a mass clear out and spending spree...
Thoise that think Arsenal will get rid of 8-10 players and buy that amount again are kidding themselves.
AW will stay, and he will let Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky go. Maybe one other (Walcott looks favourite) and he will buy 3 players max I would say.

As long as those 3 are first 11 material, I'll be happy with that tbh
Wenger won't buy 3 new starters - It would disrupt the STABEELITEE of our heroic team
Big problem we have is how can Wenger make any big signings if he can't guarantee he will be here in 2 years time? Although fergie did it with Van Persie I guess.
Need to get rid of ox, I think he has head problems, excuse the pun, with his personal life. Theo has to go because he and his agent have priced him out of his sctual abilities, that happens in business when some people end up getting paid far more than their worth. If he was willing to drop down to 60/80k then maybe worth keeping.

No manager is guaranteed to be at his current club in 2 years time - except Wenger if he wants.
Walcott is ‘home grown’
Should Arsenal decide to sell, he won’t have any problems finding a club that will match his Arsenal salary.
Walcott
Ox
Mertesacker
Ramsey
Arteta
Flamini
Rosicky

He's right though.
The only time the scenario you brought up would be an issue would be if Wenger was to come out and state that next year was to be his last. As DJ says, he's one of he only managers in world football who can name his own terms and therefore guarantee that he will be here beyond next year - if he so chose to.
what we need is arsenal to finish 5th and tottenham to win the title..wenger would just have to go...we dont want another season wasted like this season...
Ok, I see what your saying, so any new player would be oblivious to the turmoil in the club at the moment which maybe true. I was putting it into perspective that Wenger won't last past another season unless we continue to allow him to carry on like this and believe the fans have no power or say also!
