I'm so so glad of that West Brom result. It kind of gives us a free hit at Old Trafford and the hope Chelsea can do something.
A point would be a decent result.

It would be great to have it wrapped up this weekend, in whatever way possible. Not only because we as fans would finally be able to relax but for the atmosphere at the Everton match.

Bout time teams remember who we are again.
Especially the minnows like Leicester.
Following on from thorneyfox's article yesterday, I have to agree with the majority of people on here. I want it done and dusted as soon as possible. Preferably Sunday, of course, but I am more than happy to accept a favour from Chelsea.
Worst case scenario this weekend is that the gap between us and Spurs is 4 points with just 6 to play for. Even in this scenario, we would still be heavy favourites but it just puts more pressure on the game against Everton. The longer it drags on, the more I fear that fans and possibly players will start to get increasingly anxious and I'd rather just get it done with so we can have two free games with a carnival atmosphere in both.
If we ended up needing something from the Chelsea match, I still fear that the pressure may get to us. Especially as Chelsea are so unpredictable and you never know which Chelsea are going to turn up - the one who got humped by Man City or the one that has beat Arsenal twice this season.
It is very unlikely that we won't win the title now. But 'highly unlikely' does not mean 'absolutely certain' and, whilst there's still even a small chance that this might not happen, we have to remain cautious. Optimistic, but cautious. This has been a ridiculous, unpredictable season which has defied all known logic. It's felt like reality has suspended most of the time. Let's not rule out the possibility of a cruel twist at the end of the tale until it's mathematically 100% certain.
Until I see Wes Morgan lifting that trophy, I'm ruling nothing out.

Thank you Foxello....I am not mistaken - we have not secured anything yet except a place in the European Champions competition- which is fantastic anyway
When I checked posts after my return yesterday from overseas assignment -I thought I had missed a match -and that we had already won the Premier League - just detail remained -like where the trophy would be presented....
The media are also acting as though it is a foregone conclusion and have cast our forthcoming opponents in a supporting role!!
These opponents are Man U -Everton and Chelsea- three teams with high expectations when season started and highly talented squads .... and two of these fixtures are away from home.
Nothing motivates teams more than being cast as make weight to aspiring Champions - I am sure Pulis had an easy motivating job last Monday..
I shall continue to worry and chew nails until it is won -but I do not underestimate the task - I am sure Ranieri and our team do not also.
what task? Chelsea will beat Spurs.

John, what a fun life you must lead, what with the hair shirts and self flagellation - Lighten up will you.
There is no way Spurs will win all their remaining games and us lose three on the trot when we've only lost three out of the last 44 games. The Premier League trophy presentation is a mere formality.

I've never considered the thought that City are minnows. There have certainly been lean times, but I'd look at, for instances, Crawley Town and consider them as such.
This is a club that has supplied top-class players to play for their respective countries over many decades now. Add to this the fact that Leicester were never one of the 'favoured' clubs and those who were in a position to select for international duty overlooked men who should have represented their country. England and Scotland selectors were guilty of this.
Without wishing to patronise, but I'm sure many won't agree here, I certainly think the Premier League is a poorer place without a powerful Manchester United as I recall them during the Matt Busby, Tommy Docherty and SAF eras. Under Louis' reign there have certainly been signs of a resurgent United of late I'm pleased to say.
Old Trafford has never been an easy place for City to visit, I've dreaded the prospect of going there for many a year and, personally, would be more than happy with a draw.
I like John but his comments are a tad disrespectful to Leicester. If Chelsea were top by 7 points with 3 games to go he would have no doubts who would be lifting the trophy
Fact is we took 7 points from the 3 reverse fixtures. Chelsea will be tougher this time but Everton are a shambles and will get nothing from our last home game where we can lift the pl trophy.
Spurs on the other hand were dreadful in that second half against west brom. As soon as the Albion scored they fell apart. Without alli they face an uphill battle at the bridge in what is a hotly contested derby
