As trashy as it is, I find Dodgeball to be a guilty pleasure. White Goodman is hilarious.

Good shout on Slapshot. Watched it for the very first time last year on Netflix. Brilliant.
Hard to go wrong with any Paul Newman movie. Saying that how did I forget The Hustler?!
Up and Under.
A Rugby League film with a full frontal nude shot of Samantha Janus. Win.

I really like the Color of Money. Very underrated Tom Cruise performance. Scorsese at his most 80's.
Cruise does all but 1 shot in that movie too, very impressive.
I thought Southpaw was so forgettable, nothing ever developed into anything you ever cared about, even Creed (which isn't a patch on old Rocky movies) was far better.

southpaw would have been great if the storyline has not been done to death
I want to see creed, but think it will probably have the same short comings

you answered my question b4 i even asked. Maybe I will wattch creed afterall, I will just manage my expectation
Creed is what it is. It doesn't try to be clever or different but it's made solidly there for you but some level of care into it. It's silly but that's part of the charm of Rocky movies.
Best Rocky movie?
has to be Rocky 4. It is pure silliness but oh so memorable.

4 and 3 have the best montages (which surely is all Rocky movies are about). 3 is incredibly homoerotic while 4 he runs up a mountain!
Bend it like Beckham
<OK>
"The Damned United" and "Marvellous" might not have had Muurrican superstars and megabucks thrown at them but they were enjoyable low budget films. My only gripe with the former - apart from the obvious one - was that Colm Meaney played Revie as too nice a human being !
*Show me the Money* - no one has mentioned Jerry Maguire?
Any Newman movie.
I particularly enjoyed Any Given Sunday and i found Remember the Titans a fine watch.
Rocky 5 is completely forgettable.
Happy Gilmore, as any Sandler movie is unadulterated piffle.
