That is just while they investigate it.
After the investigation he is likely to get longer.

Is that what usually happens ?

posted on 28/4/16

I think so, because he didn't ask for a B sample to be tested (admitting it, in other words).

They've banned him while they investigate. Then when the investigation is over, they'll decide how long his overall ban will be.

I hope it runs similar to a drink/drive disqualification, in that if someone pleads or is found guilty of drink drive and the court needs to adjourn, they have the power to provisionally disqualify, same as EUFA imposing provisional suspension, so that, when the final decision is made, say 9-12 months suspension, day one is today.

The sooner suspension is started, the sooner ended.

I can't even begin to understand the stupidity of this

I've said before that I was extremely disappointed that we signed Kolo Toure after his ban. How ever many years into a professional career with Arsenal & City and he apparently took his wife's diet pills....all very sinister or maddeningly stupid. Either way, he should not of been allowed to come to Anfield

For Mama to potentially of done the same thing at his level of football, I just can't make it up! I remember in the Everton game him running to the bench to celebrate with Kolo which suggests they are friends. They must of discussed this type of thing at some point / it must of come up?

If this diet pills thing is true then Mama needs to serve his ban and be sold by the club ASAP if there is a potential bidder

Again either there is something sinister or he is actually that stupid to of done this. Either way he needs to leave Anfield ASAP

Kolo told him he was going to score that match

That's why he ran over

posted on 28/4/16

Is that because he'd had one of Kolo's wife's special supplements?

You just can't defend this its too stupid for words. Shame but lets see. If he makes decisions like that off the pitch you can't trust him on it!

It wasn't a defence, it was simply a factoid

wasn't a stimilant...it was a fat buster/reducer or something...

unsure if it is illegal why he hasn't got more ban though...

i mean is it legal or not...

You mean an "interim ban"

He is currently banned for 30 days pending a full hearing.

9 months is the most likely outcome.
