Credit to Canelo, his counter punching ability is world level. From round 5 onwards, he found his range and was landing some good shots on Khan.

Khan stopped throwing the jab, his punches lost their snap, got cut.

It was coming from round 5.

i think khan was out cold for a second or so...when canelo connected with that punch, khan's body limped out completely

and loses....respect for taking on fights but no one remembers or cares if you lose

I don't understand boxers who win early rounds and then don't play defensive for the next couple rounds. Khan was 4 up and should've just made it past the next few rounds still in the fight

Where does Khan go from here? That was a devastating knock out loss. He might be out of action for a while. Cannot see the Brook or Garcia fight happening any time soon.

back down a few divisions where he actually has power and looks comfortable

Back down to 147lbs. I'd take the Garcia fight straight away. But will likely have a couple of tune ups before another run at a title

maybe not as lights out as khan but the fight wouldnt be much longer. Either to the 10 count or another 5 seconds past the shakily standing after 8 count

Back to 147. This was like a freebie fight in a way but the KO will follow him once again.

Khan's punches looked so weak and useless in comparison. He could've landed 20 punches and Canelo probably wouldn't have hit the canvas.

He's too reliant on his speed and forgets that force = speed x mass

He doesn't have the chin for that game. If you load up you are easier to hit.

So d4 hes on his harris m8. no one is walking through that punch. yes khans chin is sheet but that was a cracking punch

Khan has to either drop in weight and fight boxers where he can take more hits and hurt them more otherwise he has to play the Mayweather game and go for points most the time.
