4.5 / 5 hour drive from Wolves with traffic

Think I'd rather fly !
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Two more hours and you can be in new York and visit Coney island and the flight won't cost much more than the ten hours of petty needed for Margate.

Interesting plan but it does have one major drawback.......it involves going to NY

Center of the universe and nowhere better for a Saturday avo/eve drink session.

Hate NY with a passion - the city that convinced me to live in the sticks

I love it tats, though wouldn't want to live in it permanently.

It is an amazing place with so much going on at Street level with festivals, fayres and all kinds involving all corners of the world, not to mention the food.

One image that will always sum up NY for me is the sight of a homeless guy sleeping in the doorway of a Jimmy Choo shoe shop.

That juxtaposition of incredible wealth and destitution pretty much sums up the American dream for me.

I know all cities have those types of extremes but NY must be one of the wealthiest places on the planet, would it really bankrupt them to put roofs over people's heads?

I hear ya when it comes to the homeless tats.

Have a few ideas I would like to implement regarding shelter but it looks like an impossible task and unfortunately quite a few don't want helping in the first place.

No it doesn't.

It sums up the human condition. The heart is full of greed and seeks luxury and comfort for itself. This includes YOU.

Or do you give up all you have beyond what you need to help the destitute in YOUR area?

Probably not.

Great so instead of being a "typical down on its heels dying on its ass shabby run down half closed British seaside town" it is now a "typical down on its heels dying on its ass shabby run down half closed British seaside town being enjoyed ironically by a bunch of hipster modern art lovers". Sounds like something from the Grim Up North London strip in the Eye.

Did the terrifying old wooden rollercoaster re-open Bute?

There was an arson attack, which funnily enough coincided with a property developer wanting to acquire the land.

Hattrick for Doc, no real surprise he got player of the season.

How the feck Coady gets fifth in players player is anyones guess, maybe his one vote for himself was enough?!?

Perhaps Edwards isn't so nice after all

how much will Doc go for in the summer?

couple of million? maybe three?

footballing reasons

posted on 11/5/16

so circa £5m for Doc and Iorfa plus the relase of the "six"

will that cover the parachute payments?

wonder where the squad strengthening money will come from

posted on 11/5/16

The money we got for Afobe, less what we paid for Mason, should cover most of the loss of parachute money next season. So no real excuse for not reinvesting some of the money we get in during the summer.
