To be fair I don't know what's not to like, Ask yourself why you keep buying it... Do you like open world games, Are you an Elder Scrolls fan or have you just heard good things?

If you want to jump straight into missions, Go to Riverwood straight after you escape the dragon attack at Helgen, The missions should begin pretty quick after that.

Im currently playing it.

I originally played it on the PS3 and it gripped me. I was sucked in and did everything on it even on its worst platform (the buggy and laggy and massive loading screens PS3).

I'm now playing it on the PC full of mods. I hate gaming with a keyboard and mouse. I just find it rubbish. I use my Ps4 controller for the PC version.

Playing the pc version with a controller makes the console version of the game seem like a Beta maybe even Alpha version.

I usually argue console gaming is more fun than pc gaming but skyrim is built for pc gaming with an xbox or ps controller.

HOWEVER, if after even the third time of playing the game on WHATEVER platform youre playing it on, it's probably not the game for you.

Skyrim is immense. One of gaming's best 'worlds' ever made.

I just think though if you put in 20 hours plus 3 times then you'll likely not get into it.

I'm guessing maybe you find it too slow? it can get frantic when you get into fights with similar levelled enemies

I gues Skyrim is one of those games that you are either into or you aren't, It's not like Call Of Duty or FIFA which most people generally like.

To be honest I usually hover on the 'most recent' page of this site, and when I see an article headlined 'skyrim' I absolutely must click on the article title!

Skyrim sounds like it's not for you if you've tried it three times and put in 15-20hours, but if you haven't, put in that many hours, commit to it, explore the world, explore the towns, talk to everyone in the towns. They'll give you quests to embark on.

Here's a clue, start the game, get attacked by a dragon at Helgen, get to river wood, then get directed to whiterun. If you make it there, outside of whiteout gate youll see someone on a carriage with a horse. He will take you to any town in the game. Go to any one of them. Once you're in any town of your choosing, talk to enough people there and youll find a quest worth embarking on

Yea, that's what's odd, I love open world games. I think the first time I played it I wasn't sure and didn't really give it a go, and the second time I played it I ran into a troll that kept killing me and also found a spider I had to constantly keep hitting with a bow and arrow and running away!

I love the idea of it and it took me a while to get into fallout 3, But, I love fallout 4 and really enjoyed fallout 3!

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed this time!

Give it a go, Once you get the hang of it, You'll
Find yourself playing for 4/5 hours at a time.

Some of the quests and locations are sublime. High mountains to deep tombs/dungeons. Character customization is brilliant and you can find the best weapons and armour if you look in the right place too.

I went one too many mods one day and the carriage escorting me and the other prisoners started reacting insanely to the slightest bumps in the road. I ended up on the top of a mountain....it wouldn't advance so I was stuck on a mountain looking down at all of the land.

Oh mods, you so crazy

Hmmmm again please expand your comments

In todays standards Skyrims world still continues to be immense....unless you understand a different meaning. If not at least name a few non mmos that are larger

Also what in your opinion is a better world, as I can think of few and most will be debatable and more on preference than anything else

not sure about copy and paste but the different types of landscapes in Skyrim is immense - so much to explore...yes the missions can be repetitive but is that not the case in all games?
