Staggering. Still hasn't really sunk in we've won it, and by a 10 point margin. Itching to see what next season brings already. Lets hope England can cap off a brillaint season of football.

I dont remember us claiming we won the league after merely closing a still sizable gap at the emirates

I am ashamed of myself for ever worrying that Totteringham would catch up with us. Arsenal, Man City, Spurs, Man Utd- we've made mugs of all of 'em!

Your players seemed to, what with the lap of honour and celebratory dressing room selfie.

Lap of honour? What on earth are you going on about? Dressing room picture? Far too much was made of that.

I'll let it slide seeing as Leicester have done something incredible, but don't forget who you are.

Spurs did a similar selfie after their win at stoke. Their record since is DDLL - our players resisted such self admiration and went about our season with class and dignity and took nothing for granted.

But quote of the day is spurs have finished 3rd in a 2 horse race

Ah I see Leicester fans are starting to turn into a bunch of smarmy goading 's now. Can't say I'm surprised

Not really gloating. We've done something remarkable this season, against the odds and against a backdrop of pundits and opposition fans predicting our downfall at every opportunity. Normal service may well return next season, but until then let us enjoy it.

I'm sure Arsenal and Tottenham fans aren't THAT sensitive, surely?!

It's something that I couldn't forsee happening in my lifetime. We've not forgotten who we are, which is precisely the point really:

We're Leicester City and we're League Champions!

"Lap of honour? What on earth are you going on about? Dressing room picture? Far too much was made of that."

Your players were on the pitch for a good 5-10 minutes after the final whistle. The selfie incidents from both Arsenal and Spurs were, for me, an indictment of a weak mentality, a sense of entitlement and a feeling that they had already won it. The notable thing about the Arsenal one was that the only two players in your squad who have won the PL, Cech and Welbeck, were the two players who were strangely absent.

Any team that wins the league does it on merit. Well done Leicester

You'd have to go back a few weeks on here to see the comments the established big clubs (especially Spurs) were making about us in fairness. Leicester fans have every right to rub it in after putting up with utter dross from some right bellendds on here

I'd like to see somebody throw a custard pie in Lauro's face- every match this season his prediction for us was lose or draw.

The points total is at the low end of normal for a PL champion. However, you only lost 3 times, only lost against 2 clubs, and only failed to beat 3 teams this season.

The fact Arsenal were the team to beat you twice makes it painful that we blew it elsewhere, but in the other 36 games you did more than enough to more than deserve the title.

Thanks

Points are lower across the board, though. Mainly because results haven't been so predictable and points have been distributed more equally.

Fun fact of the day - Tottenham have actually got fewer points this season than they did under AVB, and he was sacked!

It was still a total higher than the United treble winners (and Wengers 1st title).

This, Spurs fans have had this coming. Rge biggest cry babies on this site. Can give it out but can't take it. Good season for them still, straight into the CL group stages.

Normal PL champion? Maybe for recent years but generally the league was won with a 'low' pts tally until the mid 2000's and the huge amounts of money took over and increased the gulf

5th lowest
United and Blackburn won the 2nd and 3rd editions of the PL with 92 and 89 points respectively.
As I said, 81 points is at the low end of normal for a PL champion

There were 22 teams so subsequently 4 extra games in the first 3 seasons so I'm not using these. But like I said (kind of) 81 could of been considered normal until the money explosion

It is still in the lower end, though, so not sure why you take offence (especially considering what was said after the opening line)
