Having just checked the article linked, I get quite a few recipes from the BBC Good Food site anyway. Looks like that will be unaffected by this change.
Why don't they just sell the recipes website?
That is a weird one, whenever I look up a recipe I often check out the BBC options. How much would they even save?

It's not just the BBC trying to save money though. It's the government trying to stick its oar in and make it 'less Empirical' or something.
