You're a PE teacher ffs, you shouldn't need a long haired, gobby, cringey PT to tell you how to eat well

What a joke, I love the BBC food site.

A country full of obesity, introducing a sugar tax, supposed to be forward thinking and technologically advanced, and they remove a recipes site

That is a weird one, whenever I look up a recipe I often check out the BBC options. How much would they even save?

BBC website recipe content executive manager salary: £10m p.a.

His assistant £5m p.a.

Dig out your Mum`s old cook books.....providing you can read as opposed to watching nice pictures and demonstrations by "Celebrity" Chefs, whose Main Meal Food content would hardly fill a saucer.
The only decent Chef ever worth watching and listening to was the Late Keith Floyd; and he enjoyed a drink or two to go with his Food.
It`s amazing though, how many Chefs and Cooks are obese. It can`t be the tripe they serve up to their Customers under the guise of being Gourmet Food, can it?

I was thinking that Edin. First 606 now the food web site. I had built up quite a smorgasbord of 'my favourites' in there. Let down by the BBC again. I did read that it would make 40 people redundant and I did get to wondering why the feck they needed 40 people to run the BBC food section in the first place then it dawned on me. The BBC are being petty. They could very easily keep this going as it needs very little policing and 11,000 recipes, even 11m recipes would take up sod all space on a server so well done BBC. Fire one director, doesn't matter which one, and reinstate the food site funding forthwith I say.
