in terms of test England are the best team in the world followed be closely southafrica..... Australia seems to finding its form and could well be in the top 4.... India are gd but Im afraid the main players why india were so gd are going soon.... The qadriple of sachin, dravid, laxman and khan will soon be gone.... that means the most experianced batsman and reliable batsman we wud have is gambhir.... But he is always getting injured.... England are the best cause they have a gd bench strength which stands up to the occasion..... But this is odis, and england lack the agressive batsman.... top 4 batsman have a very mediocre strike rate..... and the only agressor is morgan

I am quite sure they would have done us proud hopeforthebest. The rain will ruin this match. Shame, we were just turning the Indians over. Great to see Sharma has broken his finger though. I have always enjoyed that kind of stuff, and seeing Andersen giving him some chin music was the highlight of the day for me so far. I love cricket at this level. Man up India

Neon, firstly I have also left the country

Secondly, seeing Sharma breaking his finger fending off an Andersen bouncer , right off his nose end, was a joy to see. I always enjoy that kind of aggresson on a cricket pitch.

And thirdly, we have not held "it" as you say for 3 weeks. We are into the ODI series and England don't hold anything.

You are struggling to separate the different formats of Cricket?

P.S. You should have been laughing when Swann got injured. He is our talisman and a very good player. Losing him made the England team weaker, although you would find that hard to believe looking at the way your team folded against us.

Where have i gone?

posted on 3/9/11

if this match is reduced to 20 overs your team will have to reach 164.... 7 overs gone and 27 runs only..... Even 10 morgans cant save you

hmm viru that does appear a little harsh. Yes the best result will have to be the draw because of the rain. Why should we be punished that much, when as i said earlier, we were in complete control of this match. Our batsmen were just waiting for you to bring on your next set of bowlers and then the fireworks would have been launched. Being set that total you mention is ridiculous, and not even India deserve to win in this way.

Has neon fallen out with me? I am glad that Sharma broke his finger, not that Neon broke his finger. What happened to the banter?

ohh d/l method works the same way against every team... unfortunately your team was careless and lost 2 wickets hence a very high runs you have to score.... everything is fair in cricket..... We have had so many harsh decisions on dravid and now its about time your team gets one

What viru? Are you telling me that the results have gone like they have thus far because of harsh/bad decisions? Do not make me laugh.

If England do not lose another wicket the D/L score after 20 overs is 93, not 164.

Still pouring down. The last I heard is that due to the fact India have been having a terrible time over here. England will have to bat one over and will need to score 36 to tie

So hopeforthebest, we would need another 66 from 13 overs?

posted on 3/9/11

this is from cricinfo and i quote "If the game is reduced to 20 overs, England's target is 164."

posted on 3/9/11

My info came from TMS and SKY who both said 93 was the total. It does seem low but 164 off 20 overs is unbelievably high considering India only set 275 from 50 overs to win.
