shld be able to get both for 65mil surely....
for Lukaku 65 million would be an absolute waste of money.
blows far too hot and cold.
The heart says Griezmann, because I love watching him play. The head says Lukaku, mainly for the reasons you've given.
I don't care about the transfer fee. We have the money to spend and would benefit greatly from signing a young but proven top drawer forward.
I cant see Griezmann leaving At.Madrid this season especially with no champions league.. Lukaku for £65 mill is crazy money.. Gamerio from sevilla would be a v.good buy..
I would choose Griezmann but he's said he's staying at Atletico this coming season
shld be able to get both for 65mil surely....
only if you're getting griezmann for £15m or less
Griezmann all day, every day. Him, Ibrahimovic and Stones would be a very good start to the summer
50mil for lukaku......no ta....I'm out.
okay junction, have you let the club know?
Lukaku wants to leave for CL football btw
What? Lukaku can't effectively play wide, he'll always be a focal point whereas Griezmann can play across the front 3 with great effect.
Lukaku is probably more suited to the lone CF role but Antoine has still succeeded there and is great in transition (a style United should look to return to)
I'd understand opting for Lukaku but the reasoning you've provided is wrong.
Griezmann would offer much more dynamism to your attack and slots in a lot easier than Lukaku who pushes someone out (Rashford)
Stones you're looking minimum 40m too

Griezmann obviously, he's a much better player.

Take the nought off and we're talking
Can Lukaku guarantee you 25+ goals a season?
He's only ever scored more than 20 goals once.
we're not, in all reality of the names mentioned only Ibrahimovich is likely and he would prob need CL football to massage his ego

They have very similar goalscoring records over the last four seasons, although Griezmann has been on fire since his move to Atletico.
The question for me is: do you want an out and out striker, or someone a bit more versatile? If you wanted an out and out striker, to play at number nine, you'd pick Lukaku - he's scored consistently in the PL with very average teams since he was 19.
If you wanted someone to play on the right hand side of a 4-3-3 (maybe to keep Rashford up top), you'd go with Griezmann. To my mind, he'd be a bit more of a gamble because he's not played PL football before, and scoring bucketloads in La Liga with a side like Atletico is quite different to scoring bucketloads in the PL with, well, anybody.

Lukaku is overrated

I believe only Aguero has scored more PL goals since 2012.
And he's not been playing at West Brom and Everton.
Lukaku had a bit of a mare against us but he is deffo one of the best young strikers in Europe.

He's an excellent prospect at only 23 years old.
Scores with his left, right and head, and has plenty of time to add new tools to his kit.

Exactly. And he only turned 23 last week so he's very young. Under a better manager who knows what his potential can be?
Lukaku is a quality striker but £65m is a joke.

He is 23. Just to put that in perspective, Rooney had been playing at a higher level for five years by that age.
