Sounds an impressive menu Gem, what restaurant is that? Not very tactful to make me think of that stuff just before I tuck into pie and chips though.

As for this Talisca story. It may well be true but at the moment it all seems based on one tweet from a Turkish journo

The restaurant is called Can Cuarassa. It is just outside Puerto Pollensa on the road to Alcudia.
Stunning setting overlooking the bay, great food, friendly and efficient service and not stupidly expensive.

Plenty of scouts went to watch Blackburn centre back Shane Duffy tonight including reps from Albion, Sunderland, Brighton and Sheffield Wed

Sounds nice Gem. One of my favourite things about travelling is the food and finding restaurants such as that.

Just got back from a BBQ on the beach, which descended into visiting a few bars. Like being back at University this drinking on a weeknight. Far cry from living in the West Midlands.

Glad to see you won the bonus points. Tell Sunny he's a for me.

Nah. My aim is Singapore next. The company I work for have another site there. They have one in Australia too, but would rather experience another culture for a few years first.

Singapore would be pretty neat, only been once but found it a pretty hospitable place.

South east asia is just a great place in general even before you think about the food.

Not at all unhappy that Talisca is not coming. The whole thing from start to finish didn't make any sense for us. Still hoping we put an improved bid in for Martin, a much better signing for all sorts of reasons.

I agree about Martin wulfrun,him and Sako would put the finishing touches to a cracking strike force.

Still worried though if Tex picks up a long term injury.

Really hope we aren't serious about Balatelli. Talented but very lazy and not good for the dressing room. This is a league where hard work is a pre-requisite and I just cant see Balotelli putting himself about for more than a few games a season, he never has

It would be no good if Balotelli didnt want to drop down the divisions. However, if he took advice from Jose and is willing to take that advice onboard to rejuvenate his career (lets face it there is hardly a queue for his services) then maybe it could work.

If he was really "up for it" then with his talent there is no denying he would score a hatful of goals for us. It really does depend on his frame of mind.

Having said that I would still prefer Martin from Derby

If and it is a big IF zenga can unlock Balo in the way that cesare Prandelli did then there is a real player in there

As for talisca, I said several times that it felt like the deal was being made as public as possible and stalling for as long as possible whilst he and his agent waited for more interest as he had little interest in joining us in a career suicide move.
