Wolverhampton Wanderers have lodged a £750,000 bid for Fulham striker Matt Smith, according to a report in Thursday'sSun newspaper

We're signing a Time LordI wonder what decision Morgan wants to go back in time and change
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For a second there, I thought the article mentioned that Smith had only scored 2 goals last season.
Mind you, as Jenny continued to play Siggy as the focus for our attack, last season, 2 goals would represent an avalanche!
We can't afford to shop at lidl anymore, corner shop now. Maybe we are searching for the next Vardy

Not a bad record apart from that...
2014/15 7 in 14 for Bristol & 5 in 15 for Fulham
2013/14 12 in 39 for Leeds.
What do you expect for <£1m?

Can't see this mentioned anywhere.....
*Wolves can also confirm that the deal which sees Rajiv van La Parra make a permanent move to Huddersfield Town has also been completed. Thanks to Rajiv for his efforts at Molineux and good luck for the future.

....should I start a new thread for it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolves haven't produced a new article for it, so I don't see why we should.
They're letting him sneak out the back door.
so this Matt Smith fella is what 6ft4 -6ft5.....could do with a target man
6'6" and not a bad record when you look at how many of his games were actually starts. A poor man's Iwelumo by the looks of it.
we are lacking a Plan B - I won't be harsh and say we don't even have a Plan A
would in theory be a good foil for the pace of Dicko to flick on to - the new Seb/Chris
I've always been a sucker for a big man / small man combo up top. Could work well with Dicko or Mason and, thank feck, no one has described him as "being able to play anywhere across the front line" which is my current pet hate

My kind of combo too. (Not in a cup-cake way, before Wolfie comments)
Afternoon guys, just been doing some research on this fellow and it appears he can play any ware across the front 3, so could be useful !
I heard he can also play as a no. 10.
Don't think he has ever played left back but then neither had Wardy before he joined us, and he went on to be an international superstar
Whoscored have provided a list of his strengths and weaknesses based on this seasons stats.

Good to read that his passing is weak but his key passes are strong. Doesn't mess about with this meaningless sideways stuff then
