The players we are being linked with, and the fact that nothing in the club has changed in terms of a new owner and the overwhelming power Moxey has at the club, then its difficult to see where improved recruitment is going to come from. I think they will sign some older players to appease the fans, but whether they will sign better quality players than we have in recent times has to be questionable.

Not difficult to see where the 4th favourites for relegation comes from if the squad isn't improved much, although a fit squad would get us a fair amount of improvement, although we know already we will not have a fully fit squad when the season starts

Hambledon cricket club not too many miles away, one of the legendary sides.

Going down to look at houses next weekend. I am pretty sure that will also involve me looking at what cricket clubs are near by that I can play for.

I get to live in temporary accommodation as the move goes through as they want me to start ASAP. The missus will be in Tamworh until we sell the house and she finds a job. Obviously I've told her I'm going to hate it, but reckon I will have a whale of a time. Will miss the dog though.
