Queeny is great
----------------------------------------------------------------------
National Joke
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When you sit in a golden thrown with a hat made out of jewels stolen from India asking the poorest in our nation to live within there means..... then yes you are a national joke.
This only happened a couple of weeks ago.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? Poor people should live within their means.

They also interfere with politics.
-------
who is gonna be queen once the current one dies?
or is it going to be a king?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The throne gets passed on to Charles, although he will have popped his clogs before his mother imo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I personally am not a fan of the royal family but I do like the queen
shes lovely and has been around so long.
big fan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
are you a fan?

That's a bit of a sick joke.
I think we can all agree that the national anthem is appalling and possibly the worst in the world.... and someone needs to shoot the England band for playing it at half time. they just need shooting full stop im surprised a sniper hasn't taken them out yet.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
If everybody lived within their means then there wouldn't have been a financial crisis.
It's people living beyond their means and borrowing more money than they could afford to pay back who were partially responsible (along with the banks) for the financial mess the world is currently in.
Yes the banks were partially responsibly for not doing proper financial checks on the borrowers to make sure they could make the payments but also the borrowers themselves.

It's still the same now... look how many brand new (financed) cars you see... can people afford them? Of course not... but they want a brand new car, iPhone and Sky
Eating nuggets and chips because they are cheap, so they can keep paying for Sky...
robben. there is nothing wrong with debt as a financing vehicle... if used sensible it can actually be very good (eg mortgage), the issue is when people get into uncontrollable debt which they do not manage properly
that is the fault of the individual and any advisers they have, not of the actual debt instrument (or concept) itself

Of course, but I mean unmanageable repayments or stretching yourself to the limit, forsaking necessities instead.

Exactly.
Not living within their means.
ah but that modern day culture.... advertising has made us think that things like nice cars and sky are necessities when they are not.... the whole perspective of the human race has shifted, for the worse, and now people's lives are ruled by social media and advertising
As you may have guessed, I've had this conversation with Sizzle before.
In what world, when you are not able to support yourself, do you feel it a right to be given cigarettes, alcohol, premium tv and a brand new smartphone ffs?
