The way Arsenal fans are reacting to the Vardy news is why we are hated and laughed at all across the world. Settle for Vardy? Its the other way round
There is no other set of fans in the country who would be complaiing about signing a player who scored 24 premier league goals and broke a premier league scoring record for an utterly minisucle amount of 20 million pounds

And people who want another striker as Vardy because of his age want to bring strikers who are at the same age as him e.g. Higuain or Benzema
Can't be comparing Vardy to Benzema/Higuain GT

No? Why not?
Vardy is good but he's no Benzema/Higuain in terms of quality.

I can't see Vardy scoring more than 10 goals from open play.
Arsenal don't play into his strengths.
Vardy ain't coming it's all a smokescreen for Leicester to offer him a better contact move on guys
Vardy is a big risk, one good season at 29 to me means even if we sign him we should still be bringing in a top CF (for the 8th? transfer window running)
We settled for Giroud after one good season that won Montpeller and look at us now.
We should not be settling any more
*won montpellier the league
The difference is the poor French league compared to the premier.
If it is true that Wenger will only decide on his future at the end of the coming season means he needs some one who can have an immediate impact. Vardy, Lukaku and possibly Higuain are the only ones who come close to fitting that requirement.
Benzema is well overrated anyway, Giroud will do better than him in the Euros, mark my words.
Vardy can score goals, that's what we need but I doubt we will get him now. One of England's best strikers and best performer of 2015/16 and yet Arsenal fans seem disappointed.
Most Arsenal fans = spoilt brat children
Oh I have just realised, Benzema is not even in the French squad lol
What the Fek you lot want then? I asked someone yesterday on other thread, name me 3 striker which we can buy better than Vardy? feking deluded people.
Who is available? Lukaku is fekin inconsistent, Higuain is unproven in PL and crazy price tag for his age. Morata is avg, honestly, don't think so he is world class to carry us on his shoulder.
Who is left? name me fekin striker. Benzema is overrated, end of.
Vardy is def improve us, no matter he is stop gap, short term solution. He is a late bloomer and will keep going good atleast for another 2-3 seasons (if he stays fit). Get a grip guys, don't moan just for sake of slating club not signing a striker.

Probably blown it though, I don't think he's coming.

read somewhere that Higuain release clause dropped from 72m to 47m if thats the case we should at least try.
Would definitely rather pay 47m for Higuain or 70m for Aubameyang.

So would I but would Wenger? And at the same time admitting that £30m for Higuain two years ago would have probably meant at least one title!
So Vardy is a good compromise. At least we won't have to see Giroud on the field again.
