Something something gun laws and mental health

Once the US decided that a nutter killing children was bearable after Sandy Hook, the gun debate ended.

Trumps policies will have made no difference whatsoever. It was a US national who despite being on the radar was able to buy an assault rifle.

What an absolute piece of sh!t Trump is to try and score political points of the back of a massacre.

I hope someone offs him tbh.

It’s clear Obama’s hands have been tied by congress in regard to gun control, as many of his proposals have been kicked into touch by NRA supported republican members.

Trump used the shooting as a self-gratifying exercise ffs. While Hilary is hardly ideal, Trump is (by some distance) the most unsuitable candidate for the POTUS in history.

Who knows how many more people there are in that country with stockpiles of weapons planning something. Scary

Well be tried to use it to back up his point about banning Muslims entering the country even though the gunman was born and raised in the U.S. So he couldn't even get the point scoring right.

Hard to believe that Bowling for Columbine is 14 years old, and little has changed.

Kinder Eggs were banned in the States for health reasons, (there had been two recorded choking fatalities) yet anyone can buy a feking automatic weapon

Do people believe that Clinton will be any better than Trump?

Look at the facts, Clintons campaign is funded by weapons manufacturers, similar to a certain Mr Bush.

She's been in politics for decades, how many favours must she owe?

Trump may be a bigoted, bordering stupid nationalist, but he's the only man who we can say has the thoughts of himself and the American people at heart.

America are screwed either way.

Who in their right mind would allow Trump near the US nuclear launch codes?

Apparently nearly half of all Americans

Trump (no matter how much the apologists back him) is the most likely candidate to push the big red button purely because he has a strop on with Iran, Russia, China, North Korea or just about anybody who doesn't agree with him.

We're all doomed I tells ya

Such bad choices. Over 300 million Americans and one of these two media/corporate whor3s are going to take the top job.

We can't be too harsh on the yanks though, we've somehow ended up with an old Eton boys club hell bent on ruining the lives of millions for a quick cash grab.

It's pretty sad that Donald fkin Trump is the only guy brave enough to stand up and do something and tell it how it is and its gunna have to take him being president to sort this bs out

Any conspiracy theories yet?

No fan of Clinton, as she’s probably the most ‘neo-con’ Democrat in history. But at least she’s qualified – in that she has experience of political office. Trump has none.

His polices are completely devoid of substance, and the only saving grace is that many of his fantasises would not get through congress. ‘Making something great’ isn’t really much to go on…

Throughout Trump’s campaign there have been numerous topics he’s been unable to comment/discuss, as he was either ignorant to the subject, or he didn’t know enough about it to engage in debate.

His defence has been to deflect attention away from specifics by attacking anyone who criticises. Utter madness.

isn't there a long list of serious contradictions to almost all his major policies. The guy just spouts nonsense.

Don't think you can call it a case of saying it as it is, he just tries to say whatever redneck/racist America wants to hear.

Trump wouldn't fire a nuclear missile ffs, he will have the same amount of advisors as all previous presidents.

Sanders was the best option, unfortunately too liberal for the small minded Americans.

In a country of over 300 million guns circulating among 300 million people, "lone wolf" terrorist attacks and other mass shootinga are impossible to prevent. That's just the cold, hard reality even though many would like to politicize it. This is not 9/11 where a well coordinated group somehow seized 4 passenger planes to carry out attacks despite the intelligence community having all the information needed. to stop it, but failing woefully.

Yeah you can't really stop this type of attack with surveillance but a ban on guns, particularly the type that allow you to kill over 50 people in a matter of minutes would help.

Trump is as big a self-absorbed narcissist as you'll ever see. The notion he has any altruistic bone in his body is laughable given the evidence.
