Yeppp and RVP is having an amazing year - he hasn't scored this well all through his career - they come and go.
& I also think RVP is world class.
See, not too stuck up to admit...
I can't find Suarez in the table for top assists either - the site I found went down to 3 assists this season.
What does this man Suarez do to justify the hype?
I watch every Barcelona game - start to end - and whilst Villa is still class, his game is slowing down, not the goalscorer he once was, isn't banging them in left right and centre - will always love him though for a certain goal Wembley earlier this year.
Would still rather have Suarez.
Assists
Suarez - 2
Aguero - 5
Rooney - 4
Van Persie - 5
Also for the record Adebayor - 6
Ahh the target's slipping now - better than Villa..
but not better than Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, RVP, Rooney, or Aguero.. stretching the definition of "world class" a bit here
Chances created, dribbles, passes, runs that have led to goalscoring opportunities. Yes he may be low down the lists this year - (we don't have a runaway player scoring).
Do you just blink your eyes or sommt everytime he runs like 3/4 defenders and sets a chance - he is 90% on a way higher wave length then most of our squad, that can't be helped just glad to have him.
Unless Suarez becomes clinical he will never become world class.
As previously stated in this thread it should be given to the top 5 strikers in the world, and he is definitely not better than.
Benzema
Higuain
Villa
Pedro
(if your counting them Messi & CR7)
Aguero
RVP
Drogba
They way he is playing atm you could argue Sturridge
Rooney
Tevez
Cavani
Gomez
are definitely better. I would bracket him in a list with Balotelli, Dzecko, Adebayor, Torres etc
You lot pulling stats is rather boring:/

I'll stick to this
& 'Villa, it's slipping now?' I was replying to that Arsenal guy who said Villa better than Suarez
For me a striker has to be able to score goals and get assists to be world class. I do like the tempo at which he plays the game and would probably say he is better than VDV at that 'in the whole' position.
Benzema
Higuain
Villa
Pedro
(if your counting them Messi & CR7)
Aguero
RVP
Drogba
They way he is playing atm you could argue Sturridge
Rooney
Tevez
Cavani
Gomez
Ok, gosh where to start.
Messi & Ronaldo obvz we'll leave them out.
Benzema most of time a sulk who's only shone in France - not too prolific - and no work for side.
Higuain is quality but only better than Suarez in goalscoring. (no other footballing quality)
Villa - see above comments.
Pedro - Some of you gotta admit comparing Pedro and Suarez is stupid.
RVP & Aguero have been great in Prem - but they are not streets ahead of Suarez like you lot suggest - jheeeez.
Sturridge - His finishing yesterday was worse than Suarez's ever is
Cavani - that Uruguayan striker who scored 4 for Uruguay recently against Chile?
Oh no sorry that was Suarez...
Mario Gomez - in Germany, at Euro's or World Cup he looks pants.
Anymore?
Edin - appreciate your honesty
Didnt actually comment on here to recreate arguments - just bewildered at why you guys rate Suarez so low.
The above Pool fan shouldn't of said stupid stuff but I stand by everything I've said.

a Champions League and World Cup winner?
The Barca and Spanish squad
He's an amazing winger - but not fitting in with the list or this argument is what I meant
Sorry for boring you Lucas Leiva, but you asked for it:
"he doesn't score as many as some mentioned - but i guarentee you he works hardest, runs the most, has a high tally of assists and has the best movement (if you deny that one you're simply a fool )"
Aside from the other subjective points (who's to say who has the "best" movement or dribbling) who's the fool now?
I'm sure you wouldn't want to be bored by the stats of miles ran or dribbles completed per game.
As for the "slipping" - it's funny that you originally said he'd improve Barcelona but then had to qualify it by saying only if you removed their most ineffective forward.
Suarez is better than Adebayor!
As for the "slipping" - it's funny that you originally said he'd improve Barcelona but then had to qualify it by saying only if you removed their most ineffective forward.
I still argue he'd improve the squad whatever - sorry so many comments going on LOOL.
His dribbling and movements are his best assets and if you're gonna bring out some stats to say Dzeko or someone is a better dribbler then there's just no point is there really...
Suarez is better than Adebayor!
-------------
Qualify that statement!
Adebayor is better than Suarez
because:
Adebayor: 7 goals, 6 assists.
Suarez; 4 goals, 2 assists
I dont rate him especially low, I just dont rate him as a striker thats all.
Also when you have a flatmate who tells you constantly that Spurs dont have a player better than Suarez, Charlie Adam is as good as Xabi Alonso, BAE is a terrible player and Enrique is far greater, King is overrated, and Johnson is as good as Walker. OH! And that Liverpool have a better squad than spurs. All the time, it starts to give you a blinkered view towards Liverpool and hate them a lot more.
"Didnt actually comment on here to recreate arguments - just bewildered at why you guys rate Suarez so low."
I don't rate Suarez lowly, I think he is a top class striker who oozes quality on the pitch, very entertaining to watch and a scorer of great goals. When he joined you I likened him to a lesser version of Tevez, I also said he would do very well for you. I think watching his performances since he arrived I have been proven right on both statements. But I would not place him in the bracket of elite strikers, certainly not yet anyway.
Also re Villa, he is past his best now and I would take Suarez over him to be honest. But Pedro is class and is better than both Suarez and Villa.
Yeppp Adebayor is better than Suarez...
Ok *hand over face*
His dribbling and movements are his best assets and if you're gonna bring out some stats to say Dzeko or someone is a better dribbler then there's just no point is there really...

Obviously not, if facts disprove your assumptions.
Have you looked up the meaning of the word "delusion"?
Lucas - sorry if you can't justify your opinion but I can see no reason to think Suarez is any better than Adebayor at his job. That is - scoring and creating goals.
Being a neat passer, dribbler etc is what the midfield is for
