Weirdly I agree with you that Hazard is overrated a little and I would prefer to have Sanchez. Whilst hazard is IMO technically better than Sanchez, Sanchez work rate is sublime.

I disagree that Hart is underrated. He's way overrated and is prone to making bad errors (Bales free kick was one of many)

Ozil is a German Juan Mata. And I do not think Mata is good enough. Overrated.

Forster is underrated. Cleverley was in his time with United. Kane and Lukaku are too.

Kane and Lukaku are OVERRATED* too.

I think Dele Alli is overrated. Remember Michu? Yep they play different positions but once upon a time Madrid were looking at Michu, He was released by Swansea last summer.

Mertesacker is it the same player Arsenal fans want not playing. Most of the time Mertesacker is trolled by Arsenal fans. Your goalkeeper heroics are more the main reason for your defensive numbers.

Cazorla is underrated, yes age is catching up with him but he has been quietly tremendous for Arsenal.

One of the most overrated players ever, as for respect he gets his bumhole licked so much by the press and pundit mates, it shines brighter than the North Star.

I've personally never got the hype that surrounds Hazard (more so a year ago) when many claimed he has it in him to reach the level below Ronaldo and Messi. No doubt he is an excellent talent who can win you games with his incredible skill but mentally he is far too weak and goes missing far too often.

A great player to watch but still a long long way off the level people claimed he was at or would reach. I don't really get why he's Belgium's captain either, I get he's their best player (which is also debatable) but he doesn't show any leadership skills whatsover. Imagine being captained by Kompany one game and then Hazard the next.

Kyle Walker is hugely overrated at the moment

2 good matches against sides that didn't attack and he's now Roberto Carlos morphed with Gneville

He's fast and worries oppostion fullbacks because of pace, but he's pretty much an accident waiting to happen at the other end

Always thought Shaw was ovetated in a sense. Poor attacking game (check number of assists he's made in his career), lack of technical ability. However, there's a very good defender there-but he's overated in the sense that his forward game is nowhere near what people seem to think.

Kyle Walker TKT probably put in the worst crossing performance. I thought Darmian was the worst crosser of the ball but Walker is on par.

Rooney was one of the best of his era. But that was several years ago.

Joe Hart is an incredible shot stopper, but his distribution and positioning is amongst the worst I've seen at any top club in the world. His errors have cost City a lot of big games.

i can only assume that your comments about Ozil and Mertesacker are supposed to be humorous.

Ozil is overrated by arsenal fans, underrated by everybody else. He seems to be rated just right when it comes to the national team though.

Not sure. I don't really pay attention to individual awards. I was referring mainly the way the national media and pundits talk about him.

2011, 12, 13 and 15 - think it is the media who vote.

I don't really follow German players aside from the ones that play for arsenal. Were the awards deserved?
