Finally....decision is made and we can move on.
Wenger knows it before.
Vardy decided against a move to a big club shows his attidute. We dont need such a player
Part of me is impressed with Vardy for showing a bit of commitment and loyalty so rare these days. But if could be a sign that times are hard and we just aren't enough of a draw to be able to sign someone from Leicester!!

If Vardy doesnt want to come to Arsenal, I suspect that in his heart of hearts he is worried that he is not good enough and will end up as a squad player/sub behind Giroud. After all we know Wenger has an unjustifiable love of Le Statue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Big bollox this.
If Vardy fears competition than he should stay at this Club.
We want player who compete for positions to get out the best of the Players.

Why would he move from the champions to also rans?

Beware Ajaccio, L'orient, Troyes etc, Wenger is coming
As I've stated from the moment we were linked with him, this would have been an awful move for both parties. I am absolutely delighted that he's decided to stay at Leicester. We saw on Monday why he would have been so bad at Arsenal.

Yeah you know that makes it interested. Buying from a smaller club and find a gem.
We dont need a big paid manager who spend silly money.
Vardy has played Leicester City to get a better contract for himself. Fair play to him.
Well doen vardy for being loyal...Desperation for wenger..
Your so called big club finished 10 points behind our so called small club. In the last 47 games we've lost four and picked up 103 points, Arsenal lost eight and picked up 86. We scored 90, Arsenal scored 81. I'll just leave that with you
On a brighter note it could mean Higuain may now sign knowing he won't be vying for a place against Vardy
Good decision all round tbh. Vardy suits Leicester far more than Arsenal, and why would he not want to play them in the CL, as a top seeded team. Plus it demonstrates more evidence of the tremendous team spirit Leicester have.
And from Arsenal's perspective, he doesn't suit our style of play at all, would probably be farmed out wide, and isn't the sort of character I really want anywhere near the club.

Never thought I would see the day when a Leicester City player sees moving to Arsenal as a step down. Face it guys one of the main reasons why he's not coming is because he sees moving to us a freaking step down
People are unironically making the point that Vardy sees Arsenal as a step down.
Where's people's sense of perspective?
Yes, a step down to the bench.
