Total nonsense. The poor towns and city's around the country voted out because they don't see any benefits that a rich London gets and they see the greed of these people whilst they are left in the cold. Keep closing your eyes to the facts if you like

------------------
Is this guy for real?

First of all let's take Farage - rich, went to private Dulwich boys school, gets paid to be a member of European Parliament, and get this, got paid for being member of a committee - and he only went to one meeting out of forty odd convened.

Second of all, the distribution of wealth - this is what the EU is committed to, raising standards of social welfare and quality of products and services across the EU, including regions and even whole countries (by way of entry criteria)

This redistribution of wealth comes in the form of regeneration (structural grants as they're known) to improve areas and make them more self sufficient as time goes on, like Wales, Cornwall, Liverpool, the north East, Eastern Scotland..

If you're saying so many of these areas voted out because of the greed of London, you haven't got a clue.. Scotland and Liverpool voted to remain in the EU.

The gap between rich and poor will become ever wider in a Brexit government. Fewer regulatory barriers mean the weak will have less protection.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly

It's painful to witness. This guy is a good reflection of the people who've just won the leave vote - they had no idea what they were voting against or for.

It could work out well however we've just seen the American public vote themselves into a choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. I don't have a huge amount of faith in the British public to do any better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That is a good point and a big worry that I share with remainers.

17m people aren't racist or xenophobic.

Some of course are.

Others have voted because they're wealthy, went to Eton and know they can exploit this situation to make themselves richer off the misery of others.

Many people, the majority were tricked or at best manipulated, believed lies and promises (that are already unravelling), these were the working class.

The working class who have been manipulated by the red tops and politicians since politics began - the ones who due to being lower owners will also be paying the highest price for their choice.

And even sadder, the ones who when everything has gone to sheeeet will still be blaming immigrants or people who are unable to work - while the politicians are giving tax breaks to billionaires, selling the country off at a cut price, taking away workers rights and dismantling the NHS.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is BS, in most EU countries the middle class is shrinking and the working class is getting bigger and poorer, inequality is rising and the rich are getting richer. Whatever the EU is doing obviously is not working
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For the record I don't think it's impossible to improve on the EU. It's far from perfect, however by leaving it we have just given even more power to the most regressive administration since the Thatcher era.

All economies will fail (fail those who aren't wealthy) without radical thinking and far lower birthrates as technology will mean there will be less jobs for more people.

The EU for all it's flaws is far more progressive than any true conservative government who are already planning to scrap human rights, workers rights and environmental protections.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We couldn't negotiate any proper change with a referendum so we wouldn't get any reform if we stayed. Scrapping workers rights etc, just can't see any of that happening or at least to the scale that some fear. We're not more right wing than most EU countries, some are more right wing than us.

The EU philosophy is "We'll take a load of money from you, then give you some back and you better be grateful for it"

We've always been welcomed with open arms by our EU brethren. A classy French journalist tweeted this:-

"I've always had a low opinion of the English. A nation that can't behead its Queen is not to be trusted!"

43% of Cornwall voted Remain.

And that's the percentage of any previous funding they should now receive.

Of course there should have been more information. Why should I have to go out of my way to inform myself to make a decision that will affect mine and future generations?

If you vote based on what is fed to you by the daily mail then you deserve no sympathy.

Better information was out there it just wasn't shouted by a newspaper with a blatant biased and these people chose to ignore it.

Shadow foreign secretary Hilary Benn has been sacked from the shadow cabinet by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn

Newspaper reports suggested Mr Benn had been encouraging shadow ministers to resign if Mr Corbyn ignored the motion of no confidence

Is that Corbyn actually growing a pair for once?
