LIVE: Great Britain EU Referendum

The Bank of England and all other major corporations will have had plans already in motion to make a profit out of either outcome. It is the people on the street, as always, who will be the hardest hit.

The next battle after the Referendum will be in convincing the young who voted to remain that it is worth their while staying in the country. Else we could be marking a lost generation very quickly.

6.53am. So far Nigel Farage has said we won't be able to send £350m a week to the NHS and Daniel Hannan has said immigration won't fall.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's an outrage! We've been lied to!

"I'm angry with every Conservative MP, every Conservative minister who over the last 20 years denigrated the European Union for cheap political gain, knowing that being in Europe was in our best interests, and now we come to a referendum, which started, what, six weeks ago in all effect? And they couldn't backpedal from having created a sense of distrust of the European institutions which was so clearly in our interest, and so clearly in the interest of every working person up and down this country."

Tim Farron
Liberal Democrat leader

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Brilliantly said, if there is to be a silver lining in all this perhaps it will largely be the Conservative party (as well as UKIP) that suffers the backlash from the problems this causes.

We might be seeing the likes of Farage and BoJo entering our parliament in the next few years, the sooner I get out of here the better.

By the by, a referendum isn't legally binding. Cameron could easily sack this all off, be hilarious if he does.

Never been sure if I would want to live elsewhere but this morning at least I am imagining there will be a different location in my future, not sure I really belong here anymore.

Ross Turnbull has a Champions League medal (U3522)

Many skilled will consider leaving. Know a doctor and few other mates thinking about going abroad now.

To go where? And why?

To go wherever in the world will best suit their chosen professions. Because they no longer believe this nation can do that

One plus is that if Greece eventually does hit the wall we are better out when it happens.

A rise in interest rates might cool our housing market allowing the youth to get on the ladder.

The major concern for me is getting absolutely hammered attempting any trade deals with the European Union. They will ensure we get a crap deal, as they will do everything they can to prevent further contagion as countries like Denmark consider their future.

I'd laugh if he did but there'd be bloody riots if he did.

What has changed? Surely if the economy plummets and they are financially secure, they are in the driving seat.

Many will not yet be financially secure.

Recessions are not good times to build new housing though.

Demand will likely continue to increase (or at the very least won't see a fall) which will protect prices.
