It's unbelievable isn't it? We just had the worst England performance and result we'd ever seen, and Roy thought he could get away with simply resigning without apologising or answering any questions, and going off into the sunset with his millions.

Absolutely clueless.

Yeah pretty poor form by Hodgson here.

Roy has got his press conference speeches mixed up. His very first press conference where he had just been appointed England manager, should have been met with "I don't really know what I'm doing here", followed by the announcement of his resignation.

I remember saying before the tournament started that Hodgson would get shirty with the media if things didn't go his way. At Liverpool he visibly bristled with anger when his management was questioned He really doesn't take criticism well and I always thought he was too thin skinned to handle the pressure of being the England manager.

I always thought of Hodgson as a decent man, as with many recent England managers a bit of a plum but generally OK.

This Championship has really changed my opinion of him, he's quite an obnoxious man.

I put as much blame on the players as I do on Hodgson but the way he resigned and thought he could get away without any questioning was scandalous. Both him and The FA should be made to answer questions in front of the media and public back in England .

He's an arrogant, pompous tawt.
Good riddance to the useless old codger.
