You should be focussing on your tricky second leg tie if I'm honest. The team are going to need great fans like you to get behind them if they have a chance of overturning the first leg defeat against the champions of ..... Gilbrater

What else do you expect from Chelsea, buying up all the opposition and weakening their rivals with the lure of mega wages, and all funded by dodgy money. Vile, disgusting football club that is only in the position it is due to having an owner with more money than most other clubs.
Kante is just another greedy mercenary, giving up the chance to play in the CL for the lure of money. He could have given Leicester one more year and seen through the CL campaign.

Whereas if Spurs had signed Kante, that would be absolutely fine I'm guessing......
I can understand why you Leicester fans are plssed with Kante's decision to leave. I'd feel the same if it was one of our players leaving after 1 good season.
I'm sure Ranieri will find another gem or 2 with that cash. Anyway good luck for next season.
It is a shame that Leicester are losing one of their best players. I wanted Leicester's team to stay together and have a good go at the CL but Chelsea has to come first for me
Hopefully you get a good replacement in for Kante (apparently you already have) and Mahrez decides to stay put. Still more than capable of having a good season.

It is a bummer he is going but I think we always knew he would. I always got the feeling that he was not part of the 'band of brothers'.
I give him the benefit of the doubt over moving for money - I think some of the other interested clubs were offering more but he has always been consistent in saying he wants to play for Conte.
Unfortunately they will all move on sooner or later and it would have been amazing to have had this season with them but they have given us a season no one will ever forget. 🐺
Done deal according to SSN!!! Good luck and thank you...
A player is an employee with career aspirations, just like the most of us. Applying a blinkered fan view on what a player should do is just unrealistic.

Bitter much.....Spuuuuds
He has a very good engine and an excellent ball winner. Out of him or Vardy though, I think we kept the better one...Not like we will miss ALL his goals is it? Save you checking.... He scored 1. Good piece of business of 26.5 mil profit on one season!
Great profit for one year................
But i would take you to task on your Vardy comparison
Not a comparison as such.... I just meant that keeping a goal scorer is more important to me. Sorry for not explaining myself better. Back to the goals though, our central defender and Captain scored 3 last season! LOL
My views on Kante is that out of the whole team he was the one who owed us.
We made him. All other players have grown with us over 2-3 seasons and have given for the cause. Whilst Kante was epic last season, I now feel should have given us one more year.
The fact he's not means I'm not plussed about him now. Wouldn't be sad if he didn't go on to great things.
But, he'll always go down as a vital part of the greatest team and season we've ever had. And for that reason he goes with my thanks, if not offered through gritted teeth.
I don't like it but knew it would happen. Either to Chelsea or PSG or another top club. It's not a shock but I'm pretty depressed by it
That said I'm not going to echo the sentiments of this embarrassing thread and the OPs comments

How did you make him? You signed a player, played him in your team, he did well and won you a trophy.
What part of that involves Leicester 'making him'. They offered a platform but not much else tbh.
Agree with obers here. Kante didn't suddenly became amazing after we signed him. We signed an amazing player before Marseille could. One way or another he was going to be a star. Ok, so we gave him that platform, but I think it's fair to say that the lad has more than paid back his transfer fee and wage bill....
Who on earth 5 starred this sharticle??!

Like I say lads ignore Obers; he spends most of his time hiding out on the sailing board having in-jokes with his bum chums, every now and then he'll stick his head above the parapet for a little wum, but those of us in the know give less credence to his opinion than that of a handful of frogs spawn from my garden pond.

The reason Kante didn't play in the semi or the final was because Deschamp wanted to play attacking football and Sissoko was a better option so Kante now joins a team who play attacking football. Funny
