Did not include the reserve keepers as I dont know how good they are.. tried to do it with with my blue-tinted-specs off and yes I know I missed Owen...

P.S this is not a WUM

I honestly dont rate Evra that highly.. if you look I choose Rooney ahead of Tevez and even Berbatov ahead of Balotelli.

Take your red specks off.

Rio > Kompany
Rio is injured 50% of the time.. are you saying you would not swap them if giving the chance?

The rest are debateable.

How can you not rate Evra highly, along with Vidic he is probably United's most consistent player over the past 5 years.

Personally I think Clichy is terrible, so is Kolarov, they're both defenders yet neither of them can actually defend while I don't think Kolorov can run. I would also disagree with Barry being better than Carrick or De Jong being better than Fletcher. Also, hard to really say Silva is better than Nani when they play in different positions also based on last season Nani was the better player.

Overall though what makes United better than City is that they are a team and not a bunch of individuals.

Also you missed a pretty important comparison.

Ferguson v Mancini = Ferguson.

They both have weak points to their game
De Gea isn't great at long shots or crosses, Joe Hart can't kick for buttons and palms saves into dangerous areas

Evra > Clichy
Milner > Park
NDJ = Fletcher

The Silva/Nasri vs. Young/Nani is impossibly close but I do think City have the edge.

Rooney 10 needs to take a long hard look at himself.

100% agree with op list, if based on today alone. however long term, more man u players will eager it more. such as david de dea & twins.

I would say right now Hart is far more used to the physicalness of the PL but no doubt De Gea has the ability to be a far better keeper from what I've seen of him over the past couple years. Both great keepers though.

I just dont get the fuss over him would rather have Baines, Clichy, Cashley, Kolarov and even the Spurs left back over him.Kolarovs biggest problem is he is slow over 10 yards.

I would also disagree with Barry being better than Carrick or De Jong being better than Fletcher.
---------------------
Have you watched much of Barry? he controlled the game against Spurs last week, people dont rate him because he does not go sliding in to tackles.. he is a team player, who plays the simple BUT effective passes.

Have to agree wit you

I'm sorry but you can't judge De Gea after 4 or so games. He was outstanding for Atletico during his time there. He needs time to settle in and considering the amount of pressure he's under he's bound to make a few mistakes early on.

I still rate Rio very highly, IMO when fit and on song he's up there with the best.

If the game was played on paper Balotelli would be in front of Berbatov.

it was all going ok and fairly plausible until De Jong not being better than fletcher. That's just daft,De Jong is the best DM in the premier and fletcher is a poor mans mark noble

even Berbatov ahead of Balotelli
----------------------------------------------
how unbiased of you to place the joint golden boot winner higher than someone who scored 6 league goals.

I must admit though.... for comedy value

Balotelli >>>>>> every other player in the world combined.

Perhaps you should try English instead of maths.
Our board might have been a better option.

Even with all the cash City have spent I'd still only take 3 at most of their players.

But Fletcher isn't a DM, he's a box-to-box player. Personally I wouldn't swap Fletcher for De Jong, I think De Jong's a very good player but very one dimentional and would not help United in any way.

You can't honestly think that about Evra, over the past 5 years he has EASILY been the best LB in the world along with Ashley Cole, no question. Defensively he is brilliant, add to that his great link up play with wingers, overlapping, cutting inside, he has everything. Did you ever seen Clichy play for Arsenal, he was shocking, I honestly don't think he understands the offside rule.
