SO you have shelled out well over £1000 for a season ticket you don't intend to use. So Arsenal are happy; they have your money, they don't care if your seat is empty all season. They can still claim the usual sell out crowd. But your "protest" deprives someone else the chance to go; someone who might actually want to go and support their team. Childish pointless and stupid
But if you give the ST up somebody else will snap it up. This way you control the empty space and anyway a thousand squid ain't that much a year when you got loads of money, loads of money .....

Anyone callign him an idiot why not actually make a vaild point as to why you think this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he's paid out around a grand for something he'll never use depriving someone of a ticket who might actually appreciate it - in the vain belief that his non-appearance will be noticed.
Let's not give him hero status - he's hardly a suffragette jumping in front of a galloping horse.
In fact I'd wager that it is BS anyway
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The other thing about OPs stance is that he may have been an Arsenal member for a substantial period of time. By buying a ticket and not going until things change will enable him to protect his seat until hopefully when things change for the better.
Also I'd prefer to see the empty seat of conscientious fan than a so called fan who will sit there no matter what is going on behind the scenes, probably knows nothing about the club and is another tourist that has got more money than sense.
It's better than doing nothing, yeah they want our money but if enough fans did this the club would take notice.
I see the OP's point at a degree..... but you have given the club x amount already, and you will deprive yourself of watching your team... the club wont care as they have the x amount and 1 seat empty wont make any difference.
Just go, try and enjoy it, its a game FFS,

when the ground was empty at the end of last season it had more publicity than the booing when the likes of eboue/denilson/bendtner were playing.
wenger will have nowhere to hide and neither will snakes like gazidis and kronke

This all talk. You'll go to every game - you know it and I know it
fair enough mate <Ok>
I just stopped taking it so seriously when I had children and my time was taken up with more pressing matters.
Its just a team, its just a game, I am 40 years old now and you look at things differently when you get older and have kids. (*I don't know your situation or age, I am just saying what I think)

I am sorry but this is embarresing to read. i am sure that kronke and Gazides will be in mourning that your seat will be empty on matchdays. The only people that will be be rejoicing are the guys to the left and right of you who now have that much more space at games!.
