Most of these add-ons have a sports section where you can view every sports channel you an think off.

Just got mine yesterday very impressed, not played around with it a lot yet but the "UK Turks" add on seems the best for reliabilty and "DC Sports" is HD quality!!

Ive got a mac book air (which i am typing on now) and i managed to find a youtube tutorial on how to load Kodi on to my laptop. Works a treat and I've been adding some really good add ons and builds like Phoenix , rookie etc.
Im lucky i have very good internet speed so everything works great.

Ive just bought a mini display port to HDMI adapter so i can now view whats on my Mac on our big TV.

Ive still got the full sky subscription costing me £110 per month (TV, Phone, Internet, Multi room and HD)and after the first weekend of premier league footy if I'm happy with my footy coverage then i will be cutting the package down to basic.

It's a build so they have put all the best add ons on already and do they updating.

Not necessary, just recommended. I don't bother, as viewing a stream, is as the law stands still legal. However if you use a P2P streaming add on, then you will be breaking the law(which i condemn wholly) as you are also sharing/broadcasting , in which case a VPN makes sense . A few folk in the USA have already been slapped for using P2P addons.

I need to get mine sorted for the coming season. I was using Sports Devil but it stopped working back end of last season. what's the best streaming app you guys use? Bear in mind my internet speed is shocking, so HD streams won't work for me.

Get wookie.
NJM Sports and Halow TV are good for HD quality football, but there are a few options Wookie have for you.

A very timely thread as far as I am concerned, cheers to original thread poster. I recently got a Sony android TV and uploaded Kodi and some add-ons to try to watch sport. I can watch most sports now on the TV, but I have to say the quality isn't great. The HD seems more like SD or it stalls and buffers a lot. I've used Sports Champion I think, Live Mix, UK Turks. Any other suggested Add-ons for HD sports that actually do show it in HD would be appreciated. I want to see Spurs in HD quality without buffering!!

This +1

Wookie is fantastic. It is a 'build' that has all the addons needed. My go to add on last season was Bulldog, but the whole streaming thing is fluid, so this may change.

Bulldog is/was fantastic for BT. Full HD too

A great repository of information is here...

I would recommend a VPN, especially if your ISP is SKY. They block certain sites.

Have fun

"and watch footy on there rather than on some rubbish pixelated stream online!"

That's what you'll be getting with a Firestick

In my experience, you don't get a better picture than you would streaming from a laptop to TV. So I just do that for the games I don't have on Sky or BT

posted on 2/8/16

My quality is far better through an android box than it ever was through a laptop.
Not a lot different to Sky HD tbh.
