From Wikipedia

The Cayman Islands are the fifth-largest banking centre in the world, with $1.5 trillion in banking liabilities. In June 2008 there were 279 banks, 19 of which were licensed to conduct banking activities with domestic (Cayman-based) and international clients, and the remaining 260 were licensed to operate on an international basis with only limited domestic activity.
--

In other words, there are only 19 banks with actual infrastructure in GC, but 260 (we're talking the world's largest banks here) using GC to funnel funds through.

The actual infrastructure of these banks on Grand Cayman is generally limited to a P.O. box. All the business is done from New York.

Apparently we're getting Juve's head scout. We need their negotiating team.

BTW did you know that Allegri's thesis in Uni was about a three man midfield? Haven't had a look yet but it might be quite interesting.

Honestly, at this moment, Italian managers are absolutely on top of their game.

Yeah banned word. Agreed, Italians have produced quality coaches for a while now. Interested to see how Spalletti does at Inter. Underrated coach, and has his teams play grate football.

I have a feeling Spalleti will be the turning point for Inter in the next few seasons. He is a quality manager and with Monchi providing him with quality players and with an owner who will probably back them with $$$, they will do quite well. Serie looks to get quite exciting in the next few years with a new seven sisters coming up. Juve's dominance in winning the league every season has been quite bad but below them, the battles for positions have been quite entertaining.

Monchi's at Roma. But I take the point. Serie A regaining four CL spots is good for the league also. Hopefully someone else can win Serie A next season. Though I'm not sure they will. I think Napoli are best placed at the moment.

I'd heard a lot about Coverciano, will get round to reading that later. Cheers, Sideshow.

Good read

As to this final question:

"So is Italy's big secret this magnificent school—founded by a man ahead of his time, who always thought two steps ahead and believed in seeking out the devil in the detail? Or is the Scuola Allenatori, in itself, the physical manifestation of one nation's irrepressible love of the tactician?"

I'd say that although it's likely the latter, there's an important clue earlier in the piece, when Ulivieri says:

"The player is subjected to a continuous mental challenge. Beyond coaching the body, we need to coach the mind."

In other words, they'll already have had this inclination towards deeper tactical thought drilled into them during their formative and playing years, meaning that by the time they attend Coverciano to get their badges, they are already in an excellent predisposition to make the most of the teachings on offer.

The better the raw materials you have to work with, the more likely you are to produce quality managers.

Napoli are signing Adam Aaanus from Bordeaux. We were linked with him a while back. Looks amazing at dribbling on youtube.

You mean Adam Ounas ? Looks like insigne's replacement

Don't think so. Squad player probably.
