He did indeed.
Half time with Costa, provided the assist for Coady.

did he play well

Yep, so did i. Bit behind though.
It's all been a bit tantalising so far with Bodvarsson, Teixeira and Costa playing parts of games but we haven't seen them all together much really. When we do, and hopefully add Talisca in, it really is very promising. They do all look a notch or two above the established guys and there were some laboured performances tonight from Coady, Doherty, Evans and Henry. Price played well and Mason very well though
Do think Molineux will be rocking in these two home games and be great if we can get some momentum going with two results
It's all right having good attacking players but we need defenders in now. We can't defend set pieces and we need a captain who can be wallys mouthpiece on the pitch.
Sorry DB your time is up.

You just upset WITSS .
Batth just isn't captain material and i i have been saying this the last couple of years.
Stearman was the voice when they were both together and we need a leader again now if Williamson isn't gonna be fit.
We haven't had a decent CH since Berra left

Agree.
Danny has looked increasingly like a headless chicken. He cannot read the game. His distribution is awful.
He will not become a better defender because he lacks the basics and after all these years at the club, still cannot grasp the foundations of his chosen trade.
Thankfully, Walter knows this already and will be looking to replace him pronto.
But there ain't many about though
Plenty about all over Europe that can do the basics.
Wolves need more cover at centre back because we only have two fit ones.
As for Danny Batth, excellent at Rotherham and never troubled tonight
Batth just needs to not be captain, he was excellent alongside Stearman most of the time.
To be honest, with a good manager and a proper midfield in front of them, I think Batth, Iorfa and Hause will get better and better as the season goes on.
Their development was stalled last season by playing so deep and having a very average midfield sat on top of them for 90 minutes. A quality, experienced centre back would be nice, but I don't think it is essential at this level.
What is the word on Williamson?
I think he could make a huge difference.
With the injuries he is having at his age, I think he's lame. Like Jody Craddock towards the end.
Said at the time we signed him that I'd rather we went for someone younger like Mariappa.
We'll sign a couple of slippery foreigners. Stop worrying yourselves.
We won't come close to promotion this season. There is more dross to shake a stick at this time around. We aren't talking three players (like when Mick left) or six players (like when Stale left).
We are talking ten to twelve of Jackett's cloggers that need to be replaced.
Tend to agree with that Tam. Don't see Williamson being more than cover if he gets fit, even get the impression that the club feel he could be doing more to help himself get fit
Did hear tonight, no idea how true, that one of the reasons there was a breakdown between the club and McDonald was over him regularly needing bailing out over gambling debts
Bit of naughtiness from Official Wolves interview with Walter. They cut this bit from the video being shown on Twitter and YouTube:
Dave Edwards didn't play after taking part in the Euros.
You can see the cut

Trouble is with Batth he isn't commanding enough, he hardly speaks to the guys around him, his distribution is awful and with actual ball players in front of him he needs to be. We need a experienced commanding centre half, now.
Owls fans raved about him when on loan a couple of seasons ago didn't they, he's not improved much has he.
Maybe captaincy is too much weight to carry on his youngish shoulders ?
who would you give the arm-band to?
Would need to be a guaranteed starter - so that rules out Edwards
give it a new signing - we've done that and it's not really worked
Ikeme maybe?
Don't see the problem with Batth at all. Been our best defender so far this season by a distance and respected as captain by the Wolves players. Just seems to be the latest in the 'we must have someone to have a go at' syndrome that is rife amongst Wolves fans
Last season we had lots of 0-0 draws. That means two things, we aren't scoring and we aren't conceding. In that defence there were changes week in week out but Batth was a constant. To improve we have considerably improved our attacking with the signings but although we are short on numbers in defence our first choice back 4 is more than good enough for this level
As for captaincy the club was praised on Saturday for coming back from 2 down with ten men and kept going for a late winner last night. So what is it we are missing from having a captain that doesn't wave his arms around and moan at colleagues?

i'd heard he has gambling "issues", not that the club bailed him out though
