Prefer Mustafi. Mangala is the type.of player that will play amazing all game but somehow still be the reason you lose.
A defender will come due to injuries but that means no striker.
No way wenger will spend another fee over £30M for a forward
Being left footed, pacey and could still improve then definitely worth looking at but not at those prices. Due to how poorly valued he seems at City there is no way we should look to spend more than £10M - £13M
Ultimately Mustafa would be the number one ideal choice however I would have Mangala ove rJonny Evans any day.
Was thinking the same, would easily take Mangala at Arsenal.
Why not make a double bid of around £35 Mil for bith Mangala and Bony??
Mangala has demostrated during his time at City, that he is simply not worth the money Arsenal would have to pay to sign him.
He's your modern day footballer a great athlete with no brain, worst CB i've seen at my club since David Sommeil You really dont want him.
People are getting desperate again, Mangala is awful. And Bony. Dunno what goes on in people's heads, yes we need players but we need GOOD players not bang average ones. We're not Liverpool.

Think it’s more to do with City wanting to offload the two players and some creative journalism.
Agree however that both would be expensive mistakes. Especially Mangala who hasn’t shown anything to suggest he is a competent defender, and certainly not a £40m+ one.

I have seen Mangala play some decent games for city . It may just be that what he needs is confidence and a commanding partner (Kos) pulling him into position.
Not seen enough of Mustafi but Mangala should be cheaper and has premiership experience.
City since take over from gulf owner have spent ludicrous amount of money on some players. Mangala is one of them, he was never worth £40m in first place. Sometimes I wonder whether these prices are real or false interpretation of the total deal.
I would take Mustafi over Mangala.
Mangala is still only 22, it's unfair to write him off so early in his career.
The first 5 or 6 matches last season where we didn't concede a single goal was in part down to Mangala, he looked to have a good partnership building with Kompany.
He then got injured, as did Kompany and for the majority of last season was paired with Otamendi who didn't do him any favours at times.
For your kind info, Mangala is 25.
My mistake.
He's fecked then.

Only a few years ago Mangala was the second most expensive defender in history. The total package to sign him (fee and wages) was close to £70m.
He’s proven to be a liability in the PL, and given the costs, can’t see AFC taking a ‘punt’ on him when there are more capable defenders around.
Personally I’d take Johnny Evans over Mangala every day of the week.
Mustafi (if a deal can be done) however looks like a good fit:

If u watch Mustafi play he kinda plays exactly like Kosielney, where he likes to attack the ball and win it early.
2 CB like that do not work as u can see when Kos was with Verm and now Gabby.
BO$$™
I haven't seen enough of Mustafi to comment but having two CB's that like to attack/win the ball higher up the pitch have worked weel in the past, Adams/Keown/Campbell/Toure etc etc.
Just takes a bit of discipline which unfortunately was lacking in Verm.
Mangala
Bony

It's because there is an incredible amount of pigshit thick fans on here, simple as that. Mangala and Bony Christ on a fuqing bike
To be fair to Mangala there probably is a good defender in there. City just ruin CB's by constantly changing their partnership, playing awful full backs and not giving them any protection.
