Chronic will be delighted, one less thing to moan about

Don't know when we assess him, we play U21 games about once every 3 weeks

Meant to be a real talent. Poch gave him his debut when he was at Espanyol so knows him well.

Poch would probably have him training with the first team at some point so could do some assessment there and I would expect to see him involved in some League Cup games at least so plenty of time to come to a decision about his future with us.

I suspect Lloris could be off before 3rd September

This is the second season he's had a mysterious injury that coincides with the summer transfer window.

Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at City or PSG

What's mysterious with a hamstring injury?

posted on 17/8/16

Yep, we all know Levy will cash in on Lloris eventually, and the lure of mega wages will no doubt sway Hugo one day from the likes of P$G or £ity.

This could be us being proactive in finding an eventual replacement for Lloris, and we all know Levy has a stadium to finance.

6'2 like Lloris, small for a keeper for me.

Not fussed if we got big money for Lloris, he makes too many silly mistakes

You're a paranoid fellow ain't ya, what's suspicious about a goalkeeper who's only just got back from his holidays following the euros and has only played 45 mins of pre season getting an injury?

It's U23s now in the PL2 and I'm sure they play every week now too

Well that's better. Means they can keep sharp for if and when they're called upon

surely we could not be so negligent as to move into a champions league and premier league campaign with only 3 proper cms. dembele dier and wanyama.

I mean surely even spurs cannot be so facking daft. especially with wanyama disciplinary record and dembele injury record.

You would hope that if a players is not bought, and a buyer for Bentaleb is not found, he will use the Algerian and give him a chance to redeem himself. He is comfortably a better player than any of the other options at present for me, bit I would not hold my breath.

Palace will be a huge indicator of what is to come though I think. I would be very surprised if both Wanyama and Dier start.

If we see Alli drop back I would guess it means he thinks others are not up to it, and I would expect another player in. Ditto Eriksen.

If Mason starts it is possible he thinks he has enough, although maybe if someone becomes available we could buy.

If either Winks or Onomah start in CM I do not think he will be looking to sign anyone else.

I personally think we will lose on Saturday

We are no gimme for any game, but I cannot see why you would expect us to lose to them to be honest

because we start slowly every season, and our pre season schedule, in my opinion, has been absolute nonsense, so I have little faith that we will put together some results for at least a month.

plus, everyone seems way too cocky for this game.. seen this 100 times before.

has 1-0 or 2-1 to palace written all over it.

probably a soft goal with which vorm should have done better.

I think im very much a realist about spurs.

I was talking us up for a title challenge just before xmas last year.. one of the first on this board to do so....
