Got to a stage where whenever we lose Walcott has become the scapegoat

What the fack has Sanchez done this season other than give the ball away and don't get me started on the careers of Ox, Wilshere and Ramsey

What a silly article, he was our biggest attacking threat yesterday. Just because he didn't score and win us the game ,he's trash. Sanchez was awful yesterday, as was the Ox. Both were worse than Theo.

Not another half witted article. If you want to deflect at least pick a player who didn't perform like Alexis or Cazorla or Ox.

Also, how many goals do you expect a winger to be on?. If you compare his stats to other English wingers, he's miles ahead. He's been a regular since 2010, before that he was a bit part player. Get your facts right before spouting such tripe!.

Castor he's been with us for ten years and I can honestly count on one hand the good games (in my opinion) he has played for us. He is an absolute waste of space to put it bluntly. Sanchez Ox and Wilshere have skill and have not been with us as long. Walcott needs to be sold asap but who in the right mind would buy him. If someone offered between 8-10 million I would bite their hand off. Ten years of rubbish which has contributed to the decline of our great club. Beggars belief how you can not see this.Walcott would not get in any of the top ten teams in the premiership yet we have put up with him for ten years of below average performances.

Haywood I agree, Walcott has struggled over the years.

However, in the last two games he has been our only real attacking threat and yet he is still getting hammered.

Where the fack as Sanchez been? Or preseason Ox?

Talking of yesterday, the number of times he ran into the wrong channels was ridiculous. He kept getting in the way of Sanchez and leaving gaps on our right. Yes both Sanchez and Ox were poor but are light years ahead of Theo.

If Walcott is on £100k a week, then if we get rid of him we can cover the wages 300-400 of the 600 other employees at the club, freeing up cash for transfers!

Absolutely ridiculous claim that says more about you than Walcott

Maybe, but feels as though he's gone backwards since 12-13

And did you lot actually fall for Wenger's stupid analogy?

Players attract customers. Not the tea lady or in fact Wenger. If Wenger is so worried about 600 employees wages maybe he should sacrifice his £8m a season. Thats £154k a week for the idiots who used Wengers words to create an agenda for their hate.

If he left the club we would improve dramatically. Whenever he plays we may as well put ten men on the pitch. Ten years of playing with ten against eleven no wonder we have never won the premier league whilst Walcott has been at the club.

Does everyone on here hope that one day he will come good after ten years. Are you all stupid. I think he now finally knows it himself you can tell by his body language he aint no Arsenal footballer. I realised this after one season. You cant see it after ten.

What did Walcott do to you Garwood. I have only seen one other obsession with one player as you have. Its just amazing and has not changed for the last 10 years. Amazing.

Jenius, It's not Theos fault it all comes down to Wenger.

Yeah, contributions of 21 goals and 16 assists, 11 goals and 12 assists, 13 goals and 9 assists really hampered us.

No but numerous games where he has contributed nothing has. How long do you think we should give him DJ another five years. As I said its not Theos fault its Wengers for playing someone who is not up to standard for ten seasons.

In order of poor performances yesterday.

Sanchez, Oxlade and then Walcott.

Even though Walcott is a clown he still at least had some shots. Plenty of times Oxlade was on the ball and I was shouting drive into the box but he just stopped and passed the ball bk.

I am not saying we should give him any more time, I am saying stop re-writing history with claims such has he has had 5 or fewer good games in ten years.

posted on 21/8/16

I would suggest that anyone who played up front for Arsenal during a ten year period would at some stage have those kind of stats during ten seasons. Even I would. Cue DJ running to the Arsenal stats.

posted on 21/8/16

That is three consequetive good seasons. Very contrary to you claims we have played for 10 years with 10 men and Walcott has only had 5 or fewer good games.

Garwood before his injury Walcott had very similar output to Bale. Now Bale is considered one of the best 10 players in the world. Walcott was very much progressing and maturing at 24/5 as expected. Dj has just stated his stats. The injury has put him back for the last two seasons. And last year he was no more than a backup. Walcott has 1/2 seasons left on his contract and you don't see the club negotiating a new one with him do you? Walcott has to prove he can get back to what he was before his injury. If he does, we will have one of the better wide players in the league. If he doesn't he will remain a backup and go. Walcott is not asymptomatic of Wenger at all. In fact Wenger is one of the best at developing players. But he has been forced to over play youngsters because before 2012 he was forced to sell the developed players to make ends meet. In fact one of Wenger's issues is not being able to get the developed players he wants. Take the example of buying developed gambles like Chamakh and Giroud! Wenger has even had problems integrating the likes of Ozil and Alexis who are proven top players. This in my opinion is because he hasn't had David Dein's help him pick the right characters which leads to dithering that leads to missing out on opportunities. Walcott has been the least of our problems because he has been actually performing well compared to the others in the attack for the last two games.

Garwood you do talk out of your backside sometimes. Il admit when he's been poor, hence his awful game at Utd last season. I will never forget that game when Walcott scored a Hatrick vs Newcastle and got motm then somehow you were on here trying to pick out his bad bits lol. Come on, you deliberately look for anything bad on him so you can come on here and spout nonsense. He wasn't anywhere near our worst player yesterday.

posted on 21/8/16

Our front three yesterday was terrible, seriously what does Akpom have to do in preseason to get a chance? In my opinion Sanchez can't play up front in the middle of three and we should only play one of Ox or Walcott at any one due to a propensity to go missing.
