What sort of run-out did Dicko get?

The net is certainly being cast far and wide. At one time it looked like half the Benfica team were coming to Wolverhampton but now we have 3 from Benfica, 1 from Atletico Madrid, 1 from FC Kaiseslautern, 1 from Man U and 1 from Reims.
7 classy players for under £5 mill? Eat your heart out Moxey!

So frustrating that MnM didn't have the foresight that to everyone else was obvious to push the boat out that extra few percent. They might all turn out to be shat, but at least we're shopping in the right places now.

65 mins according to twitter.
Dicko started with Ennis so presumably that means Bodvarsson or Mason or both will play against Cambridge
Pathetic!
I log-on expecting rows, arguments and name-calling and all I get is talk of 4-3s and who will play when and where. This is not why I joined 606. Much more of this and I'll be forced to take my sarcastic, negative attitude elsewhere.
I have only just heard that we have signed Ola Jordan. I have nothing against Polish Ballroom Dancers, but I fail to see what she will add to our bid for promotion. Secondly, if she gets a decent celebrity partner she is unlikely to be available on any Saturday between now and Xmas.
I know some on here will say that I am failing to see the bigger picture, but I refuse to let my ignorance get in the way of me expressing righteous indignation whenever the mood takes me.
worry not mr. sarcastic, can't possibly go 2 days ...............
vou fat sh!t
These Chinese owners are just not to be trusted. They promised us 5-8 new players and it's clearly going to be more than that. When will we ever have a board we can trust
We could already send out a team that includes nobody that played for the club last season;
Lonergan
Silvio, Saiss, Borthwick
John, Teixeira, Evans, Oniangue, Costa
Bodvarsson, Ennis
Unlike on saturday when dadi was the only new player in the starting 11.
I think that's where Zenga is being a lot more intelligent in the way he is going about things than Solbakken was. He is keeping the original batch of players involved and giving them every opportunity to prove themselves. The league position suggests they are repaying that faith.
When Stale arrived he bought in 5 players then openly said it was his intention to replace the whole squad and sell what he didn't need. The effect of that comment was to take a dressing room already at a low after relegation and completely destroy it.

We could bring back Siggy, he didn't really play for US last season either.
Good left back, but probably not as good as Borthwick

Sends cold shivers down your spine just imagining him in the side now!
Notice Robson-Kanu has not been signed by anyone yet. Did quite well for Wales in the Euros I thought, could he do a job for us in the Champo?
No fee, average wages I guess. Might warm the bench adequately.
Henry seems to be top of most people's lists for the exit door. Thought he had a good season last year, one of the few who did, but yet to make an impression on Walter.
Byrne may well be on his bike too, and one or two youngsters may go out on loan. The squad is beginning to look a bit large to me. Who else is likely to leave do you think?
Midfield is where we have more than we need.
I would say Byrne is the furthest away from the first team and has never given me the impression he is good enough for this level.
Henry wont get much of a look in either I suspect, and despite his recent inclusion, I can see Evans becoming surplus to requirments. Saville has scored a few goals but still falls into the disappointing category for me.
I could see the rest having a role in a squad even if some are unlikely to be first team regulars
From what Zenger has said, and what's blatantly obvious from looking at the squad and performances, we are after another striker. Apart from Rhodes who I don't think will move, we've not really been linked to anyone seriously. (Talisca & Balotelli not falling in to the serious category for me).
As much as Id like to see a Rhodes/Austin/Ings like signing, I suspect this will be another one out of left field. We've got Dicko on the brink of a come back too so I can see the club making a serious move in this area and splashing the cash to get one more quality forward in and we'll be sorted ....til January!
But what Im enjoying most of all, is the recruitment department actually having a busy August rather than effin off on their holidays.
I think Bodvarsson has been a revelation and the guy I was sat next to last night commented that it has been remarkable to get someone so good for so little.
But we are very reliant on him in the final third and we saw last season how important a good centre forward is to the team when we played most of the season without one.
We need someone who could play alongside him or instead of him if he was injured or needed a rest. Dicko will hopefully get back to where he was but most successful clubs have at least three and probably four strikers they can call on
Byrne seems to be the most likely first one out of the door, soon to be followed by Henry and maybe even Williamson. Ebanks-Landell will have to prove his worth when he returns to fitness and Edwards is not getting any younger. So that's maybe 5 that may not feature much this season and could be shown the door.
