I wanted Arsenal to sign Evans

I have never seen Mustafi play..I would have preferred a taller CB but for the fee Wenger is willing to pay..he must be good.

Since Wenger has left us with no option, Lucas Perez isn’t a bad shout. He seems to be rated by Spanish footy fans and have decent stats for decent fee. Most importantly he offers something different and with World class supporting roles he might do better than what he has at low tier club.

Overall, could have been better but I will not complain.

He actually looks pretty decent from what I've seen. Also seem to be quite quick and is very.good in the air despite being 6ft1.

Would have loved Van Dyke to join but Mustafi really isn't a bad option.

He a pretty dirty player judging by the amount of yellows he got last season.

Hope this spell the end of Chambers and Mertersacker in the next 12months.

Kos Mustafi Holding and Gabriel should be a decent group of CB.

Shame we didn't get these 2 last month before the season started. The toxic environment at the Emirates might have been different if we had 2-3 new players in the starting line up vs Liverpool.

Squawka stats for Mustafi are impressive. Better than Kos in many aspects.

Had the best defensive aerial stats in La Liga last season. Looks like he'll be a good addition to the squad.

I've never seen Mustafi properly either, really keen to see how he fares in the premier league. Otamendi was supposed to be the best CB in La Liga and he's been awful here.

For that price I hope so. I was impressed with holding and kos last weekend so I hope holding won't be wasted if mustafi joins. Last season chambers looked promising at CB then lost his place and now seems craaaap

His interceptions stats are pretty good. Read that he had like 130 plus compared to 30 from Mertersacker.

I'm just hoping that Wenger will be lucky with Perez and he'll have one of those seasons.

We will only find out if Wenger has lucked into perez if he commits to him and that counter attack style as the first choice. Will Wenger give him the time to settle like Henry or will Giroud be first choice.

I think this is why Vardy rejected us. If nothing is going to change then why would expect any different results to last season or the season before that. This time there are better managers around us.

I wouldnt be surprised if Mustafi ends up being another one who got away as the transfer window isnt long enough for Arsenal to complete deals.

We have the funds for Aubameyang or Lacazette, the club however have cheaped out with bids for Vardy and now Perez.

Far from happy that they're happy to charge the highest prices in the world and stock pile cash for a greedy American while pretending they're poor.

Several times. Once for a car on fire, once to report an assult by several men on one man and once to tell the police that if they didnt get down there to sort out the London to Brighton bike riders going through red lights and blocking cars (who had done less than 1 mile in over an hour in the traffic jam) they would be coming to collect the bodies.
