The transfer window want shut yet and everyone is wetting their knickers thinking we won't have any players left in our squad.

Daniel Levy has been superb for this club Don. I don't know how long you have supported Spurs but In my lifetime Levy has been the best by miles.

Similar situation to Arsenal before we moved to the Emirates.
But if you sign Isco...

Levy loves to act the tough guy, making big demands, brutal on managers etc..... Yet Poch gets him a top 4 finish, Champs League Football, New Stadium rising and a bumper new TV Deal. Instead of pushing on to compete with our new peers..... We go back to acting like a 2nd tier, top ten club, with no European football etc.... I'm not a levy hater but he drives me nuts sometimes. He'll probably break the wage structure right after we lose Kane to United and are back playing Europa League... Its always one step forward, two back with him

why are people thinking its Levy selling all these players?

if the chairman is selling players from under a manager without his wishes then what kind of manager doesn't resign from the job? or at least make it known that is the case?

whether you like it or not don, this is poch trimming the squad, no one else

don is an idiot. apparently levy is selling all these players against poch's wishes

This is all on Poch, not Levy. It is not like we are getting extravagant fees for the players - Bentaleb, Chadli and Mason average about 13m each. Jordan Ibe was sold for 15m.

With Bentaleb, Son and Chadli we actually look quite a robust squad. If they are sold it is because Poch does not want them.

Everyone is stressing about players leaving and that we won't sign the two or three players required by Wednesday.
If we don't sign anyone then yes we can complain but the transfer window isn't shut yet.

I think we will sign at least three or four outfield players, but the main concern for me is that it is rare you sign several players and they are all a success.

With the amount of outs we have we need them to all be

yeah surely we will make the signings.

At least three i would say.

Ok Chronic and others who disagree with me, if we make no more signings but sell Chadli etc , How will you all feel? No i don't believe it's just pochettino as he's already come out and said he wants new players. It's now down to Daniel Levy to try and get the players pochettino wants.

The good thing is not many of them will be starters...the bad thing is new players need game time also.

if we make no more signings don, then its ridiculous from us, and i will hold poch accountable for trimming the squad in such a ridiculous way.

and this is my problem with Levy waiting until the last day to try and desperately sign players. He does it every summer and never learns He seem's to think he will pull off another VDV deal every year.

Why don't people just wait until window closes before making articles?

We have international break so its a blessing in disguise as players will have almost two weeks before games.

If we dont buy adequently then moan but just wait and see whats happening. It is a bit of a mess but cant judge them until the dust has cleared.

Chronic, Pochettinon is getting rid of players yes but he has said he wants recruitments and wants to strengthen the squad. You can't sit there and tell me Pochettino is happy with the squad now because clearly he is now waiting on Daniel Levy to go out and purchase the required quality. It's now down to the bald one.

Its taken 6 weeks to date to get N'Koudou deal done & he's still not signed. The last time we signed 4 players it was with the Bale money... not with 2 days to go and everyone wanting crazy prices !!!"





Mate, only spurs and levy can put a medical in for a player and still not sign them 4 weeks later You can see where i'm coming from and i think certain supporters are now starting to see levy's huge faults in the transfer window.

Is your new ground affecting your spend? If it is should you not be taking this into account?

It does seem strange tht having come so close last season and having CL on your plates this year that you haven;t strengthened yet, almost Wenger like.

But the club probably needed to sell before spending. Couldnt take the risk on buying and then having players on the book that dont sell.

Now that clubs are buying some of our players maybe Levy is more confident in doing the same.

Boufal From Lille just signed for Southampton..... Good player, would have been perfect for us .... something different to what we have
