Hi Ace
They know who they are
4....Before he cam in we had never had a CL place in the Prm , he has delivered 3 top4 finishes
wot?
I commend him on s lot he has done, but would you rather he bought an Isco or a top notch bench press for our 'best in Prem' facility. I'd rather have the better players bought. By all means continue to develop and train the players and bring the youth through, but yes I'd rather we competed with the Arsenal and Liverpools and spent money on CL quality players to improve us, rather than selling 3 midfielders without sufficient replacements or improvements. Don't lack our weak looking bench, or lack of impetus and creativity on the pitch. A Wilshere or Isco type player would add impetus. Yes I don't like Jack either but he's got good footballing qualities. Wish Levy would shell out on some improvements and get CL players.
Hi Squid I think that Levy has done a fantastic job however when we are 20th in the net spend league for the past 5 seasons I think we deserve better like last year we were crying out for a second striker as we relied too heavily on Kane and it could have gone horribly wrong if Kane had got injured. Perhaps Levy should come clean about the new Stadium & how we are going to fund it in relation to our policy going forward on buying players who will take us to the next level.
In fairness last season has raised a lot of people's expectations, however the expectations of some aren't in keeping with the position of the club at the moment. You do get the feeling some look at other clubs throwing big money around and expect us to do the same.
I'm old enough to remember the dark days pre-Levy. I suspect many of those complaining about him now don't realise just how far he's brought us.
he certainly has his faults, and he can be frustrating, but he is the easy target.
people like don constantly mouth off about levy despite not actually having a clue about what happens at spurs (as very few of us do) and fails to look at any good, only bad.
he is a spoilt little child and I hope he has bought a big box of Kleenex for 11pm tonight.

That would have to be one fackin expensive bench press if it was a choice between that and Isco.
And as for Jack Wilshere...seriously???

Good comment which I dnt agree with
Liverpool have far more cash to spend , Ars are richer than Pool and hey have at least 50m per year to spend on wages.......We will compete when we move to our new home but until then we have to put up with iit
"Yeah we bought the bench press for £28m, and we are paying £40k per week in maintenance.
We know it sounds expensive, but we feel it's worth it for the cutting edge technology.
It's so good that it lifts the weights itself - so the players don't even need to use it"
Here, here Squid
Absolutely agree he has been amazing!

When will people realise we cannot compete with the arsenals and Liverpool's of this world? It was rumoured last season levy offered poch the QPR striker(can't remember his name!) But poch turned him down saying he was happy with what he had, so why shoot levy for that if its true? This season he has said he wants to strengthen in some areas, but what if the players he wants aren't available, don't want to come to us or their club wants stupid money, is he supposed to just go and buy someone to "appease the fans"? The players we have sold obviously had no part to play in future plans, and if we kept them just to make up the numbers, could have been detrimental to the good of the squad.
Yes I would like to see new players come in, but only if they are going to benefit the 1st team, not just make up squad places, but they have to be the right fit.
Some of the people on this site are doing my head in
How hard is it to work out how much this bloke has done for the club
1.....We NOW ha e the best training facilities in the Prem
2...We will move into a superb stadium in less than two years
3....We have one of the best managers in the world
4....Before he cam in we had never had a CL place in the Prm , he has delivered 3 top4 finishes
5....We have a Top notch academy
All you lot do is slagg hm off ffor refusing to pay stupid prices for rubbish players

Levy is a great business man. He can get buildings built and books balanced but he makes bad football decisions 7 times out of 10.
Any time it's time to push on he doesn't. Last time we got CL did he push on nope and we ended up ripping up the set up and starting again.
Have we pushed on this time? We'll time will tell but for me we are 2 quality players short.
I'm not talking £50m players but there's some fantastic players he could get for a decent price.
Let's hope Poch is fully behind this as otherwise we might be looking again at a rebuilding job.
