I wouldnt call myself a flat earthist...but you have to ask questions.
And your question has been answered
DJ spot spouting crap. Clearly the world couldn't be round, otherwise everybody south of the equator (another made up term) would fall into space.
1- Atmospheric pressures make for bad flying conditions.
2 - The need for refuelling makes a direct flight unwise for passenger planes
3 - Commercial reasons. People like going to Dubai for some reason and the flights that stop in Dubai are Middle East owned. Australian owned flights tend to stop in Singapore.
But how does that prove that the Earth is spherical?

Im still waiting for the answer as to why a flight from Cape Town to Sydney has to stop in Dubai.

"2 - The need for refuelling makes a direct flight unwise for passenger planes"
Im pretty sure a direct flight from Cape Town to Sydney is shorter than to Dubai. Especially if you travel east.

Cos we're at the most southern tip and can only go north
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can't go East or West?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, because you'd fall off the Earth
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The edge of the Earth is like an infinity pool.
But fuel consumption is not constricted to distance travelled. See point 1.
Ok its 11005kms to Sydney from Cape Town.
A 747 boeing can do about 15000kms.

Are you really asking this? Go away, you are hurting Firmino's arguement.
I'm not arguing, just intrigued as to why you assert that, despite all logic, the earth is round.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
What logic?
The logic that:
Everything stands upright
Water is flat
Boats and planes fly flat
Nothing falls off.
Spherical not round.
Flat Earthers believe the earth is round as in a circle but flat.
Exactly
as this photograph shows:

Is that the moon in the bottom?
Artist messed up that one
Of course it's not the moon
The moon is always above us.

Amazing how the water doesn't just fall off the edge
The continent top left is literally at the edge of the earth
Flat earthers believe the map to be more like this
