He went from good signing to an okay one but
he needs time to prove himself. Not all players hit the
ground running.

Hi Fuzzy

I thought he played well yesterday ,

Too early to say. He was kind of inconsistent yesterday.

If we're truly honest with ourselves, I don't think he'll ever fully reflect the price we paid for him, but he could be a useful signing all the same.

Still think we paid at least twice what he was worth, and I still think it was massively a panic signing.

He's been ok... too early to judge yet. At the moment I'm still not sure where his best position is. Hoping he starts to hit some form and works this out!

You wonder if he is indeed going to be any better with us than Chadli was, and Chadli did alright and isn't a £30m signing.

Sissoko was a money swap for Chad and Mason

Im sorry but he has to be better than the players we had on the bench last season

Think so far he's been incredibly average especially yesterday.

Looks like he's playing within himself so hopefully he'll get better with more games.

Well he hasn't shown he's any better as yet......massive fee which probably isn't ever gonna get justified but that's the modern day game.....overblown fee's.

At the moment, if you gave me the choice between Sissoko, or Chadli / Mason, I'd take the Chadli / Mason.

Not saying that I'll still think that in a few months though.

Sissoko just needs to start performing consistently and show he was a worthy signing. Hoping he can

Don't think he was training with Newcastle properly was he? Plus late back from the Euro's.

He's an awful strike rate so those expecting that of him will be disappointed. Can play more positions that Chadli and can break the lines better than most. Far better than Mason or Carroll also so I think he'll be a good addition to you guys.

At least he'll bring some more physicality to the side. Under Poch's fitness regime he could be a beast.

early days but he had some decent wing play yesterday... beat a couple of men and put some good crosses in.

on other occasions though, his delivery was poor.

I don't think hes the greatest player in the world, but hes different to what we had, and he is versatile, which will prove useful over the course of the season

I thought he did ok yesterday without setting the world alight.

You can see he brings something different, and he's definitely got a physical presence about him which is always useful. At the moment he looks a bit short of fitness and the confidence that comes with playing alongside the same players on a regular basis.

I do think his best position is CM, breaking forward in the box-to-box ball carrier role like Dembele. Don't think he's good enough at beating a man to be a top winger, and he's certainly not a creative inside forward like Eriksen or Lamela, but there's not many players who could stop him in full flow, just like Dembele.

One thing about the Poch system is that new players rarely go straight in. They need the fitness levels and the need to understand the system.

Sissokko will need a bit more time to settle in IMO, that was his first start, right?

Personally think he'll be a better player away from home when he can expect to find some more space to gallop into. It gets a little bit congested at WHL with the opposition rarely coming to play football.

He looked like he was trying to hard yesterday, I'm certain he will be a good player for us but IMO we massively overpaid.

Once he starts understanding what's required of him he will look better.
