disagree.
we have been way behind on the "darker" arts for ages.. and finally we have enough professionalism and nastiness in the squad to sort it out.
it was channelled incorrectly, but I loved how dirty we were v Chelsea. the soft spurs that I grew up with has long gone, and we still have some way to go.

eriksen benches, possibly alli too.
at the moment son has to play.. and lamela looked good in the central role when he came on.. I would give him a shot starting there on saturday

I was impressed yesterday and thought he got involved and actually worked really hard. Could of even had a goal and was terribly unlucky with that 1st shot. He wasn't amazing by any means and will never be worth 30 mil but I think we got a decent player there. Our squad looks so much better now with our deadline day signings, Son back into form and Dembele back.

Not for me.....waving imaginary cards is a disgrace and I wont ever back our players doing it.....!!!!
I missed the game yesterday but caught 10/15 mins of him at Wembley last week as I was sat only four rows back from the pitch on his side and he looks a decent player.
To be honest though, the way I see it is;
- The payment plan means we pay £6m for every year of the five he's signed for and at the age of 27 I'd be surprised if he's here when he's 30; £12m-£18m is about right in this market.
- As mentioned already, he's essentially a money swap for Chadli and Mason and on paper is certainly better than Mason in the deeper role and suits Poch's system more so than NC with his direct and powerful play.
Unfortunately, I can't see him contributing the same amount of goals Chadli did in his time with us but overall I think he is a better quality of depth to be utilised in a way Poch knows how. Again, as mentioned the guy will take a little while to get his fitness up and his understanding of the systems he's expected to play in. I reckon during the Christmas period/start of next year we'll start to see what he's really made of

I thought he played quite well and is definitely an upgrade on Chadli, he is versatile, powerful, quick and will also get stuck in, he just needs to add a few goals and he will be money well spent.
£30m is what you have to pay in this market and he will be better value for money than Pogba (£90m) for example. Sissoko is also a better player than Winaldjum who we were previously linked with for 25m.
