You'll probably find instead of Kane scoring loads this season the AMs will be scoring more.
Janssen link up play is much better than Kane's IMO
Early days. Kane started very slowly both at Spurs and on his loans.
Janssen is strong with his back to goal and link play is very good. Picks the right ball most of the time. And I think his movement is better than he's given credit for.
We should be more worried if he wasn't getting chances. Record in Holland suggests he will start finding the target before too long.
Been a bit concerned by Janssen's finishing. He's had great chances against Everton, Palace and Sunderlabd and fluffed them all. Needs a goal from open play I think.
That said he looks tougher than Soldado. Soldado got outmuscled far too easily and Janssen looks a lot tougher imo
I think janssen will be a very good weapon for us.
Have we overpaid no doubt about it, is he gonna score 20 goals a season? Not a chance.

But he has other attributes that give us something different. He is a player that has scope for development too. He is a classic defensive forward one that will work well for pochs narrow system.
However I'm still of the opinion we needed two backup forwards or someone who could move there centrally when Kane is out like an alexis Sanchez primarily a midfielder but can play up front comfortably. (son cannot do this at all)
I don't think janssen will score many and that's a problem because we don't know how long Harry is out for imagine he is ruled out for the whole season. It's also not fair on janssen who is effectively a rookie he has had one full season.
When I look at the likes of West Ham and palace who bid for every forward going it's disappointing we have just two centre forwards.

Even Ruud Gullit, who's always championed him in Holland, says that he's not in the right positions to get the goals. He's got to stay central but too often he drifts out wide. A poacher will never score from there, and that's what he seemingly is. If he is the next RVN, how many goals did he get from outside the 6 yard box? Not many! He's also snatching at opportunities which is definitely a lack of confidence. I don't think a pen gives him the confidence he needs. He's got to do it himself rather than be gifted something like that.
Might be a while before he scores, with a tricky tie in Moscow next followed by Man City at the lane. After nothing really against Gillingham and Middlesborough, bet he somehow bags a brace against Guardiola's lot!

He has a massive arrse which he backs well into defenders and they struggle to shift it. Thus his hold up play is good when he has his back to goal.
In terms of finishing he has been sheit so far tbh.
It is Soldadoish at the moment, with the pen and missed sitters. Decent energy and hold up play but then Soldado had that at times.
Will wait to see how he does next season.

Totally agree. Personally think he's pretty average. Wasn't a player I wanted us to buy as he's totally unproven.
I don't take any notice of his scoring recorded last season as the league is rubbish.
His link up play is pretty good but he's very clumsy at the same time.
Just think throwing out the soldado comparisons is just silly
