Alli was poor again, unfortunately. only thing of note was the shot that hit the bar.

FuzzyAlli Class mate.
Nobody had a bad game per se, not by current Rooney sort of standards. Maybe Janssen would be the lowest rated and Son, Wanyama and Aldy the highest.

Toby is such a good player. Really top top class. Impresses me every time I watch him play.
Well, I guess most of us watched the same game. But few seem to understand what a key player Lamela is for us.
Everyone played well today.
All in all I felt we deserved the win - without it quite being a natural performance - but we also gave them lots of opportunities, and not always deserved. A better side would have punished us.
I stand by my view the two fullbacks playing are the weak points of the squad. Neither are adventurous enough or aggresive enouhh and we seldom get a 2-on-1 due to them beating a man. Both did a job, but the standards is high for our fullbacks.
Toby was his usual self, although Traore caused him more problems than most do. Never looked rattled. Jan decent.
Wanyama was solid, and probably the pick of the bunch in midfield.
Eriksen, Alli, Son and Lamela were hit and miss throughout. All were guilty of too many touches, holding on to the ball for too long, sloppy passing and weak in holding players off. Other times they were superb at these things. Lamela's passing was the most erratic - ranging from Pirlo to Parker.
Janssen had a bit of a mare. A few nice touches, and a good finish for his 'goal' but generally a peripheral figure throughout.
Both Nkoudou and Winks impressed me when they came on.
The former caught the eye with his early run, and wanted to get the ball and run at players whenever he could. Good feet, good balance and pace - could be a fine weapon for us. FULL DISCLOSURE: I love a winger, so I am naturally biased.
Winks did nothing you would stand up for, but everything he needed to. 8 minutes, 15 passes, not one lost. Just keeps that ball moving.Looks a very accomplished little player, and a great night for him to get a taste.
I find it hard to give anyone much more than a 6 to be honest, probably only Wanyama and Toby with a 7.

Lamela was not very good, other than the assist. He is so lightweight, improved a bit second half.
I was surprised with how poor CSKA were to be honest. Would be surprised if they pick up a win in any of the remaining games.

Not saying anyone else was, hence I said I would not give anyone barring Wanyama and Toby more than a six.
Some of Lamela's passing first half was atrocious. It was a really bipolar performance from him, much improved 2nd half though.
Eriksen, Son and Alli very similar too. Too much dallying with the ball, one too many touches, waiting too long to release, sloppy passing at times, but the opposite on other occasions.
