Good article, although I think it is a bit premature. I think Kyle Walker is a top class player but, as Euro 16 showed, in my view, Nathaniel has the edge on him. They are each at the top of their game, they each give it all, but for me Clyne is the better of the two.
With regard to full backs generally, the reason for saying the issue s premature is that Jurgen, by Dec last year or before, had already identified Joel M as a target and got him signed in January. Klaven came later, but like Karius, he didn't buy these guys for them so warm the bench. I still reckon Matip and Klaven will be his first choice, with Lovren, much improved, is third and Mamadou taking up the last.

Penalties are not the creating stats
-------------------------
Corners and free kicks are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which means he is a great full back in a pressing team as he can di everything which surely means he is more valuable than a player who can't.
Don't understand your point to be honest!
Used to give Walker a lot of stick but back then i think he deserved it as he was kind of a headless chicken. Since Pochs been working with him hes improved massively and has probably been the best if not one of the best RBs in the league past 2 seasons or so. Rose has improved massively too.
Our fullbacks benefit from our formation/system a lot, but don't take credit away because of that, klopp even said he told milner how much he would have the ball at lb more then he could imagine, its one of the more important roles in the team so they have to take responsibility and the pressure that comes with it.

Walker is a quality full back, Clyne is better, he created more chances than any other fullback at the euros despite hardly playing.
Perhaps walker is seen as more solid by some, but I think attack is equally important to defence in the modern fullback and Clyne is the better all rounder
However I'm a liverpool fan so bias is to be expected!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Walker currently has 2 assists and is part of the best defence in the league.
We could be here all day, Spurs fans saying Walker and Liverpool fans saying Clyne
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you're admitting to wearing the tinted specs as well?

The point is easy. His attacking stats are boosted by set-pieces compared to other fullbacks. Was the same thing with Baines for Everton and even Spurs' Trippier who used to hit set-pieces for Burnley. That flatters his attacking stats compared with the fullbacks you were comparing Milner to.

I would not swap our fullbacks for any pair in the division
That is not to say they are the best per se, but I think they are the best for us. If offered one of your leftbacks I would pick Moreno myself, because he would suit our style.
Vedran Corluka was a lovely rightback, would not suit Spurs now, but would have probably suited Leicester last season. Different sides require different things
Who are Liverpool's fullbacks?
No star power in your team at all.
