What the fack does this mean?
Come on guys, let's celebrate all round
Right now, in my view, there are four great managers in the league, and we have one of them and Liverpool have the other
That's worth a drink, surely?
Sandy, please don't make "Shirley" jokes like Nielsen used to
Said Spurs might win.
Solid defence, attacking threat, something City haven't really come up against this season.
City are vastly over rated in my opinion, which aligned with the arrival of Pep, was always going to see people handing them the title if they had a decent start.
They may well eventually win it, but it wont be the stroll some seemed to believe it might be.
They're still the favourites, despite the loss today. Their blip started with Celtic in midweek. It happens to good teams now and again
I cannot see why Spurs can sustain the march in the league?
We have only clicked into something closer to what we can do and achieve, having been very slow in previous games and yet grinding out an unbeaten run.
The problem might become more tangent for Spurs, when we do well in CL and MoPo will have to maintain a good form on two fronts : CL and the premiership.
We have a good depth in the squad and have some of the best defensive players in the league - the stats speak for themselves
City will invest again in Jan I think. They'll eventually get the title, edging it.
However, it won't be the walk over that the frenzied tabloid predicted.
One thins is for sure: if we do stitch together this unbeaten run for few more weeks, we'll defo go from being FIFTH favourite for the title to second favourite.
Which is what Liverpool are, according to the bookies?
why wouldnt LFC be second favs? We had THE hardest fixture list and only lie 2 points of 1st, we have no european fixtures either.
Nobody has scored more goals than us and we are the top scorers in 2016. Our two home games we have scored 9 and conceded only 2.

Some fair points there morespurs.
I can only speak personally but I'd wondered what would happen to Spurs if Kane got injured, he scored so many last year after all. You're answering those questions in fairness.
Equally, Dembele seemed so important to your continuity last year. Again, he's missing and you're still performing.
After the start to the season I think it's fair to say that Pep, Mourinho and Conte arriving probably allowed Spurs to go under the radar a bit. The only question remaining for me is reaction under pressure after the end of last season. Don't think you'll be far away but I'd still have my money on City tbh.
Talking of money, people seem affronted that Liverpool were made second favourites. Bookies are businesses, they aim to make money. Odds reflect what people bet on and Liverpool are a popular club. England went into the Euros 4th favourite for goodness sake!
G_B, please keep these articles coming mate. The reactionary comments from these halfwits never fail to entertain.
OP is just as bad if not worse of a poster than GB. They don't call him more sperm for nothing. Ran his mouth out last season only for Spurs to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race.
How did 'we're coming for you, Leicester!' go?
Plank.

Spurs have had a harder fixture list mate, having already played three of the current top five. Chelsea is not considered a tough fixture these days. they finished what was it 13th of something like that. Palace is a tougher match in my opinion.
The same Chelsea that ended your title challenge

Great result for Spurs, but boy, City were awful. They just can't seem to cope with the high pressing teams like Spurs and Liverpool.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They were bad because we made them look bad. We pressed them effectively but we also defended extremely well when we had to. It's not as simple as pressing teams will get results, City will always make chances so the defence needs to turn up! We have the best defence. Could have been 3 or 4 nil, but the most impressive part was the nil

Crikey, even when we're complementary, you get a bit defensive. Considering the form they have been in, City were very poor yesterday. It doesn't mean I'm trying to take anything away from Spur's performance. I've already said on another article that you've laid down a real marker.
How have spurs had a harder fixture list? We played cfc..arsenal..spurs ALL away, then played the champions and next up we have UTD.
Lets here how spurs is a harder opening....this will be fascinsting.
Come on GB, they've played the combined might of Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Stoke, & Palace
Their only half decent result was yesterday's

Spurs ended their own title challenge by failing to win any of their last four games. Drawing with Chelsea was no better or worse than drawing with WBA.
Still attained the prize of CL football this season, something Liverpool can only dream of.

Liverpool have played and lost to Burnley. FFS Swansea, a Leicester team that will be lucky to finish top half this season, Hull , Chelsea 13th in the PL last season. Yeh real hard fixtures.
So Leicester finishing first last season doesn't count but Chelsea finishing 13th does. Hull are a joke but Stoke are good.

"Good result" is hardly a complement. It's a statement of fact.
"..but boy, City were awful" is also not a complement, in fact it detracts from the achievement by Spurs, implying that City being awful (which they were not) is the reason for our victory.
I don't care what you said on other threads. I don't read everything you post. I was responding to your comment above which was far from complementary, and actually reads as a inaccurate skew of events
