What made em special was Suarez. No one's underestimating Pool. They're a good side. But let us not overrate em either and fall for the hype.

But that is a convenient statement in hindsight. At the time, no one thought even Suarez could take a team struggling for seasons around mid-table mediocrity to the cusp of the title. There's a lot about how the current Liverpool team play to be at least respectful of their chances rather than dismissing them as a "huff and puff" team making up for lack of ability.

There is ability there but no one has been there and done it. Sturridge and Coutinho have won things but only as part of a squad. Milner more so I guess but then nothing. Some of the players are good at football though. Coutinho can do things many can't. Firmino is extremely efficient. Mane effects things.

Klopp is a class act all in - the way he sets teams up, the effort and commitment he gets, it's scary... if you look at the fixtures they have had so far and where they are in the table the rest of the top teams in the league should be very worried!
Really like Klopp, Liverpool are very lucky to have him - huge upgrade on their latest managers.

Yet he delivered their lowest finish in years
Tbf he delivered it with someone else's squad after taking over after the season was already underway in a new (to Klopp) league, he also reached two finals which isn't bad.
Also, Arsenal didn't/don't need Klopp, you have Wenger who, for all the criticism, is a great, great manager IMO, I actually really like him and think English football will be a worse place once he retires.
I think Klopp would struggle to control all of the blue chip players we have at Arsenal.
At Liverpool, Klopp is Mr Blue Chip, yet at Arsenal he would sit behind 4 or 5 of the bluest chips in world football. Aaron Ramsey in particular. Imagine going from Aaron Ramsey to Jordan Henderson? That's like going from BlueChip to BullChip.
