Busby, I don't want a dieselhave had one for 3 years so switching back to petrol.
Also, really annoyingly as there are loads, I don't want white... Miss Robben has a white A3 and i think it would look gay as fack having two white cars on the drive. Blue, black or grey...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty picky aren't ya.
Also, diesel > petrol.
Cost you a fecking fortune.
Anyway, as you can see, for £12k you can get an almost new diesel. Why are you look at 2011 models?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't want a diesel... have had one for the past 3 years and decided I want a petrol again. A big petrol though, hence I am going for the 2.0 GT TSI.
Only drive 15 miles each way to work and back so it's not going to increase my fuel expenditure by much
I'm looking at what I can get for sub 50k miles and up to £11k, with the 2 litre 210 (not the 198 which is pre-facelift) engine

What year is that car ?
2016 i believe.
Interesting.
The picture i linked was of an 8 year old car
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The new RS's are a bit naf inside.
http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/201502/2016-ford-focus-rs-9_800x0w.jpg
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What are you expecting.
You get similar features to an audi or merc that costs 10 grand more?
You want buttons made out of platinum you pay more.
The focus rs is 30k.
Performance wise its one of the best hatchback cars around and it doesnt lack in any features.
Compare it to a merc a45 amg which costs 10k more.
Or an audi rs3.
All about what you prefer i guess.
The look of that scirocco though is ugly,it could have the best looking interior in the World. If it drives like crap and looks crap on the outside im not buying

Looks are subjective... I used to hate the Scirocco but it's grown on me massively. I've had a mark 4 then mark 5 Golf so want something different... with a bigger petrol engine.
Miss Robben has an A3 so that's out of the window.
1 Series Coupe, I looked at seriously for a while, but don't like the interior
Merc... not quite right for me yet.
Not having the 3 Fs - French, Fiat or Ford - or Vauxhall.
So that basically leaves me with the Scirocco.

That's a Focus without the Nav.
They don't even give you a digital touchscreen
Vauxhall are the same.
When Seat, Kia, even Skoda all offer this as standard now, instead of all the nasty buttons.

Its a good thing not everybody on the planet is the same then
When i drive a car i want it to:
Drive well
Be comfy
Look nice
If it does those things im happy.
Scirocco doesnt do it for me.
I have seriously considered an electric car or hybrid, since I could charge at work FOC
Driving and comfort are a definite yes.. I agree the looks are decisive.
Looks on the inside are more important than the outside to me. Guess that kinda comes under comfort.

Over 300bhp as well ridiculous.
Yeah i dont understand that decision from Honda...
My car has 290bhp, front wheel drive.
Also has a limited slip differential and other bits and bobs but still you can feel too much power in the front.
Lots of wheel spins even with expensive tyres.

I have a 170 GT TDi currently, with 265ft lb and even that spins up through 1st, 2nd and 3rd without being careful on the throttle
I have no idea what you lot are on about.
Power to the front wheels. Too much = no traction. A factory standard car with over 300bhp and nearly equivalent torque, should be 4 wheel drive at least...
