Not as much you lose when paying for a car plus interest though...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very true.
Depends on things like mileage, longevity of the car you're buying etc.
You may be better leasing a car for £200 a month and sticking that £10k into shares for example.
My investment will be about £7k. As I will get about £4-5k for mine.
I will still have a cushion in my Premium Bonds, so I'm happy. Would rather be clear and know where I am, than have more regular money coming out...
Premium Bonds are a waste of time and money.
£20 here and there you're not gonna win the jackpot.
If you had took my advise on SOU 2 months ago you'd be a rich man.
Maybe not, but a regular £25 a month is not even comparable to an ISA and infinitely safer than traditional investing
Miss Robben won £500 on hers last month...
I'm very happy with my ROI since I've been using them.

I made £8k on my £1k investment.
My pal had £25k in there. Was stuck for 3 years but he paid off his mortgage with it.

If you got 17k you put down a deposit on a house not blow it all on a car.

This
But knowing Robbs he'd rather blow it on his dream bike Harley Davidson
I don't like motorbikes, and I own a house...

If you research what you're investing in enough, it isn't as risky as many think.

Unless you forget your password and move address. Then it's fecking impossible.
Nah it's not
Funnily enough, I had PBs bought for me when I was a kid... moved 2 or 3 times since, lost all record. They have a form which you download, fill in previous address and shiiit like that, send it off and then sorted me out n online account
Really, and you still have not been able to access them?
Nah need to sort it out, have a little in one. One of my little pots kept away from the woman.
I don't envisage ever needing it. But if I have the choice between having savings she doesn't know about and a Laura Ashley show house, I know which I'm picking.
