Drove an E220 AMG line today. The interior is ridiculously beautiful and it drives beautifully. Never quite rated the E Class but the AMG models are just something else. BMW doesn't even come close imo.

Yeah really nice Mr C. The AMG version costs around £40k and I would deffo pay the £3k ish extra for the AMG trim. Drives really well. Interior is well plush with the fancy solid black shiny surface. Doesn't look all that from the outside but its really built for comfort inside. Unlike my crap A Class the seats actually move forward electronically from the side buttons. Took me a few minutes to work that out

Ffs even ford are doing it now with the ST line

Hmm.. I think the model which I have was when they first brought out the amg spec for the standard code class models..

They've gone over board with the latest certification class models though with amg premium, amg premium plus, sport premium, sport premium plus... You have no idea what you're getting..

Kav my dad has a 2003 e class which has all the extras. And you barely feel that you're doing 80,85 whereas in a C class you do. It is really comfortable drive
