I don't expect the series in odis or tests to be easy for England..Its all about conditions..SA and Australia would also struggle on these kind of pitches.. I do expect England to win both series though..

Great sweep from Stokes.

Risky shot, and when it fails the fans are up in arms.

I concur with Lefty for England v 🇮🇳

I don't mind who does the India series..All I can say I think the series will come down to the fitness of Anderson..He may not take many wickets. But he will be the best seam bowler in Indian conditions..Dont fancy any of the other England quick bowlers.

I think the age old situation will be the deciding factor. How well will England play against spin.

Everyone one here has the right to have match thread articles instead of one person. Someone got really burnt though and talking about me in his rant. I'm enjoying cricket folks the same way I love babes

England adapting the the conditions rather quickly. This partnership has steadied the sip somewhat. If they see out another 8 overs...England will go well past the par score

and again, with some corrections:

I don't think that will be an issue.. I think England will be very positive against the Indian spinners. They wont let them bowl.
I honestly think the series will comedown to the England bowlers against the Indian batting..
If India can get 350 more often than not. England will lose..

Lately if you gyes noticed that India do produce some really good pitches for pacers also. The last test against New-Zealand was good for both pacers n spinners.

If I remember correctly, the last time England toured India, and won, the pitches were quick and bouncy

Good fightback from England

No they turned square.. India produced turners hoping to beat England that way..Swann and panasar were the best 2 spinners on both sides.

I have my 🍹 and little stressed too as I have put my money on England. Hope these jokers don't disappoint me!

Ah yes, I think the first or second test it was a bouncy wicket, but India lost, and went back to turning wickets.

the biggest improvement from England in Odi cricket in their foot movement and being pro-active.. In the past we use to have players doing nothing in the batting crease and getting stuck down one end...You do feel that England will score runs now.

I remember quite well that KP played a huge role too along with Cooky etal; Monty started the bloody damage n then Swann finished it. I don't see Ali capable of doing what Monty did last time nor u have KP this time..

Glad that Dhobi retired from tests.. Big relief for us and hope he retires from other formats soon too. Due to him we even lost to Zimbabwe recently in a T20.

This fielding is a joke. That second catch was a dolly

The Bengis trying to compete with Pak in fielding, especially in catching..

On a serious note, Stokes should be careful for next 5 overs or so and go berserk later!

With Buttler due it next England are looking at 350 minimum.
